For Bryan Fox’s Pro One-Off he chose to do his graphic on the 157 Team, because of its all terrain versatility. His graphic concept this year is going back to his youth when he would see band flyers posted up around his town and the art on them would get him charged up the same way skateboarding and snowboarding does. It’s probably deeper than that, but we couldn’t get more out of him, maybe you can.

For Austin Smith’s Pro One-Off, he chose the Rook. He loves the true twin and the mid-wide shape. His concept was to take film strips from his memory and apply them to the board like a reel of his life in snowboarding and all the good times that come with it.

For his Pro One-Off, Markus collaborated once again with his brother, placing images from his head onto the board. The model he chose is the T1 because of its versatility and the perfect flex for his size and riding style.

For Jon Kooley’s Pro One-Off, he chose the Swindle because of the Zero camber and twin shape. Jon is very inspired by skating, tattoos and motorcycles, so this graphic is a twist on very traditional icons that mean a lot to him in his life.

Eero is a tech wizard who does his shit big and drops hammers. From rails to jumps to backcountry lines, he’s doing it his own way and making it look good. His pro model has evolved over the years just as his riding has. Eero loves consistency so the running length on all of his pro models is the same. He’s just extending the length of the nose and tail to fit whatever he is riding. Eero rides all season, which means durability is a huge factor: so we have added Ballistic Impact Panels and the Powerlite Core to his model. The Tri-Progressive Sidecut makes for a very lively turning board and the Profile Tip for added maneuverability.

ROOK

The multiple board test winning Rook has become the go to board this season, because of its true twin, mid-wide shape and Zero camber that makes the board easier to transition from rails to jumps. The Bi-Lite Laminates give the Rook a very forgiving flex while the Ballistic Impact Panels and Railkiller Edge take all the abuses that the park dishes out. For 2011 we dropped the camber to Zero and added our new Pop Band in the fiberglass for boosted ollie snap. Rounding out the Rooks insanity is the Dual Degressive Sidecut that keeps the board from being catchy on take offs and landings, but provides a solid hold between your feet. Don’t be a mark for those other companies - try a board that will give you some love back.

ROOK x DENNIS MCNETT Dennis McNett is visual liberation. An artist, a craftsman and most of all a visionary that cuts his own path through his life as well as his work. As far as we are concerned Dennis is a lifer with us and we are more than proud to offer our third collection with him for 2011. We are not looking for the next hot artist of the minute to collab with, we are looking for partners in crime who share the same passion for what they do that we do... they eat, live and bleed it and Dennis McNett is just that guy. Dennis McNett was born in 1972 and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. He moved to New York in 2001. He has been carving the hell out of surly block prints for over 17 years. All of his encouragement as a young kid came from his blind grandfather, who told him over and over again that his drawings were good. Later influences came from the raw high-energy graphics pouring out of the 80’s skateboard and punk rock scene. Dennis has been fortunate enough to show work both nationally and internationally, design board graphics for Anti-Hero skateboards, design shoes for Vans, participate in the Deitch Artparade. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Juxtapoz magazine, Thrasher and Complex Magazine. He holds an MFA from Pratt Institute, where he now teaches as a printmaking professor at the graduate and undergraduate level. He wants to live until he dies. Check out his work at Howlingprint.com.

Since the Team is such a solid board it was the perfect fit for our Gullwing Camber technology. The Gullwing Camber makes it easier to initiate anything from presses to floating in the pow or just casual groomers. By positioning the camber right under your feet, you can pop solid ollies and have control when landing, yet it still allows you to unweight the front or back foot when making that transition in powder, tight turns or presses, making it a very catch free ride. The T1 has evolved into one of the most fun twins on the market, because of its versatile shape, multiple sizes, standard and wide widths and forgiving flex. On top of all of that we have made great even better by adding our Reflex Core Profile and Zero Camber. MAGNUM

The Magnum has become the shred sled of choice amongst riders with large feet because it gives them an advantage over those without a solid landing platform. The Magnum has never been treated as a wide board, because it has none of the characteristics of wide boards. ADDICT x MARK WELSH Mark Welsh defines visual liberation. Photographer, designer, artist, snowboarder, skater, surfer, traveler, father. A true renaissance man for our generation. He does not let boundaries define his life, what he can do, where he can go. He has defined the photographic look and direction of Nitro Snowboards for almost a decade and while doing so created some of the most stunning visual images ever burned on film. In his travels shooting snow he is also constantly shooting life as it happens around him. From these images we took inspiration for the 2011 Addict. The Addicts are about living and Mark has done plenty of that. His images are what brought the Addict series to life with each board representing a different love or time period in his life and travels. The 153 Addict captures in stark black and white honesty images from his home in Michigan and travels in and around Detroit. The 156 depicts in shocking color the visual beauty and diversity from his time spent living in Japan. The 159 evokes the raw energy and color of his time spent traveling and shooting bands and shows around the world. 01. FTI EVO2 AIR CHASSIS

Double Air technology meets FTI featuring a aluminum mini disc reduced in size to maximize the available dampening area. Huge cut-outs for airbags in the toe and heel part bring the weight down to a minimum while a new coring pattern enhances strength and response. Lightweight binding performance meets ultimate ride and response. This chassis is available in a carbon or glass fiber reinforced nylon composite. All versions now have super cush EVA padding and all features known from FTI Chassis, such as stance fine adjustment or quick heelcup micro adjustment. The FTI EVO2 AIR Chassis comes with a new lightweight aluminum heelcup with window tech.

The FTI Air Chassis is a huge step forward in lightweight binding design and dampening. By opening up the sub-frame on the heel, we were able to insert a full-size Airbag. Not some micro gel pad or rubber bubble, but a full- size Airbag that will absorb icy park landings and huge street drops, taking the impact instead of your back. The Fast Track Interface Chassis is our perfect blend of fiber reinforced nylon and T6 aluminum to create an ultra lightweight binding with incredible response and enhanced board feel all without the rigidity of a 100% metal binding. Our exclusive Fast Track System securely attaches the heel cup at the front of the binding without hardware, which increases leverage and transfers power faster from heel to toe.
