Just when we thought that Nitya Biswas couldn’t possibly get more lavish and desirable, she’s here with the decadent ‘Meraki’ boasting of sumptuous fabric and eclectic colours to foster a sensationalism that delves deeper than it has ever before.
A piece carved out of the designer’s own soul, the collection is a mélange of a colourful aesthetic vision caressed with raw, edgier appliques. Contoured textures and layered hues play their magic with starry crystals patched and pierced on a dusky canvas of scorched saffron blending into rusted gold. Shining pearls, sparkling studs deeply anchor saturated undertones and impeccably striking elements. Nitya Biswas artfully embraces her own essence, to impart a fresh take onto a seemingly traditional story.
