China Cohort is Making Things Happen

We Are Especially Proud Of Our Doctoral Students In China

The 13 students in our China Cohort are university professors from Jilin International Studies University in Changchun China. In June they defended their dissertation proposals via Zoom. It is an exciting collection of topics, and we know these are going to be thoughtful and exciting dissertations.

During their Summer Institute in July they attended classes, presented their portfolios, and developed their professional growth plans. They also shared their dissertation proposals with NJCU faculty, students, and alum through virtual poster sessions.

We had attendees from five time zones and a wonderful exchange of ideas across cultures. The week culminated on Friday with a panel discussion on technology, leadership, and change in higher education with Ed.D. alum.
