We have an exciting week ahead! Before we get started with the juicy details though, we just wanted to take a moment to make sure you know where we are! We are waiting on our signs and you will probably see some temporary signs posted in various spots on our property until then. In case you zip by though, we’ve included a picture of the NJSC above! What’s Happening This Week? In keeping with our love for animals, their well-being and our better understanding of the gifts they bring the human spirit, the New Jersey Spiritual Center is honored to present “Why Does My Dog Do That?” seminar with Bark Busters Behavioral TherapistNicholas Pagano! Come prepared with questions you would like to ask and join in the conversation and question / answer format of this free educational evening event! Please join us in welcoming Adrienne Gammal to the New Jersey Spiritual Center this Friday May 17th from 7-9pm! Adrienne, a certified Crystal Master, Teacher and Healer, Reiki Master and Meditation Teacher for over 20 years will be kicking off her Crystal Series Workshops at the NJSC, starting with “Crystals 101: Intro to the Wonderful World of Crystals!” Come learn the science behind the healing properties of crystals, and how and why they work. This in depth class will teach you the history of Crystals and their current modern day uses, the 7 basic must have Crystals for your collection, which Crystals are for healing, grounding, abundance, love and intuition, and how to clean and energize your stones! Adrienne will walk us through a guided meditation to connect and experience the magical qualities of your Crystals. And best of all, she will be bringing her beautiful array of Crystals for purchase so you can begin, or add to, your collection! Time flies by as we hurry to work, or to pick up or drop off the kids, walk the dog, go shopping, make dinner, finish college, or work a second or maybe a third job… School, work, commitments, the grind…and our bodies keep chugging along, and our minds keep driving us harder, and our spirit keeps screaming inside us causing our stomach to turn because we know deep inside, that we MUST make time for ourselves. We must stop tuning out…Please join Coleen at the NJSC Saturday from 12:30 – 2:30pm for this weekly circle where we discuss practices designed to help us learn to tune back in to our temple that is our body, mind and spirit, with the intent of allowing ourselves to release false beliefs and create new thought patterns for healing and growth!

…but wait there’s more! Come explore the healing sounds of a drum circle with Mike this Saturday from 7 – 9:00 pm! Discover the physical, psychological and spiritual rewards as we create a unique sound experience that develops from and raises up the collective energy in the circle! There are NO prerequisites to drumming so be as fearless as a 2 year old, tap in to that inner child, and explore the rhythm! If you have a percussion instrument, bring it, but if not, bring yourself as we have instruments for both use and sale! It’s time to get planting! Grow FOOD not LAWNS! Industrialized food production is not looking out for your health, just their profits. It’s time to take back our food! Please join the NJSC and Jim Louro founder of Vita Life Herbs, (a certified organic vegetable and herb distributor right here in Wall Township, New Jersey) as we learn the ease of starting and maintaining a vegetable and herb garden! Get hands on experience as we plant the NJSC’s first official vegetable garden this Sunday from 12 – 2pm! Kids are welcome! Come play in the dirt with them and bond over the experience and fun of staring a garden! Jim will also have extra plants available for sale so you can bring your own garden home and continue the fun and exciting experience of growing and eating your own local, fresh, organic food! Jim also offers design assistance for any space you have. Come pick his brain and get growing!
