The students will work as a team to design, build, and program an Android based robot from a provided kit of parts including motors, sensors, and a large array of mechanical components. The class culminates at a FTC competition including live head-to-head games where the team’s robot will perform tasks to earn points and try to outscore the opponent. (The event will be on a weekend day in late fall, pending event host announcements and our group’s availability). Participants in FTC are also eligible to apply for FIRST scholarship opportunities.
