Welcome and Intimations A very warm welcome to worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk. We especially welcome Lindsay-Anne and Kenneth Purdon who bring Hope for Baptism. We are glad you are here and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you. The short monthly communion service will take place immediately after the service. All are welcome to share the sacrament. The welcome team today and on Sunday, 15th January is Lilian Gillies, Barbara Allan, Andrew Bryson, Jim Lawson, Peter Adam, John McDowall, Iain Sherry, Betty Johnstone, Elaine Bryson, James Lang, Moyra O'Rourke, Donald MacLean, Ann MacLean, Ian McCall and Kevin Handling. Imagine this afternoon at 4.00pm in the halls. A buffet dinner will be provided. All are welcome. Worship on Sunday, 15th January is the Kilmarnock pulpit exchange beginning at 11.00am. Kingz Kidz and Trekkers NG meet in church at 10.50am and sit together. There is a creche facility for children under three years of age in the Session Room. A few copies of the Order of Service in large print are available. Please speak to a member of the duty team if you require one. Guild will meet on Monday, 9th January at 7.15pm in lower hall. Fellowship of Kilmarnock Churches shared worship for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on Sunday, 22nd January at 6.30pm in Kilmarnock South Parish Church. Missionary Partner, Joel Githinji will share in the service. Welcome Group. Tickets will be on sale soon for the Burns Supper to be held on Saturday, 4th February. On Saturday, 25th February, 7.30pm-10.00pm, a fantastic Family Music event will take place, featuring the Scottish music duo, Ginny and the tonic. Tickets cost £5 (£3 for children), with funds raised being donated to Bobath Scotland, the cerebral palsy centre. We hope you can support this event. EACHa is very grateful for all your donations of toiletries for the hygiene packs. Anything you are able to bring is very much appreciated. Just now we would particularly welcome shaving gel/foam, disposable razors, shampoo and conditioner. Foodbank. Donations of non-perishable foods should be placed in the blue bin in the vestibule. Particularly welcome just now are UHT milk, tinned fruit, rice pudding, meat and vegetables. New volunteers are always welcome.
