Welcome A very warm welcome to our worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk. We are delighted you are here today and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. We especially welcome Rev. Colin Strong of Fenwick linked with Riccarton Parish Church as part of Kilmarnock Pulpit Exchange. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you. New Laigh Kirk - a place to belong Whether you are a guest or regular attender we invite you to find your welcome place among us, a place to belong, to join in regular worship, to join in the life of our Kirk in whatever capacity and in your own appropriate way. You will see that there are many people of all ages seeking to serve within New Laigh Kirk as well as the wider community. As part of the family of God and gifted with many and varying talents, we try to use these to deepen our faith, care for each other, and to spread into our town and parish the good news of God’s love for all. Intimations Worship on Sunday, 20th January will be conducted by the Minister beginning at 11.00am. Kingz Kidz and Trekkers should meet at 10.50am in church. Crèche facility in Session Room for children under three years of age. Tea and coffee will be served in the church immediately after the service. Music and Movement will meet on Tuesday, 15th January at 2.00pm in lower hall. Kirk Session will meet on Tuesday, 15th January at 7.00pm in lower hall. Guild will meet on Monday, 21st January at 7.15pm in lower hall. Burns Night with Andrew Dick. Guild of Friendship will meet on Thursday, 24th January at 2.00pm in lower hall. Come and hear David Hume. New Scottish Hymns Worship Music Workshop on Thursday, 24th January at 7.00pm in church for all musicians and singers connected to NLK. Come and join us to learn, to celebrate, communicate and express faith through a variety of music styles. Fellowship of Kilmarnock Churches. Service for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be held in St Joseph's Church on Sunday, 27th January at 6.00pm. Everyone welcome.


Kingz Kidz Coffee Morning on Saturday, 2nd February in the John Finnie Street halls from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Tickets are £1.50 and all contributions to the day would be appreciated, so if you would like to bake, run a stall, donate a gift for a raffle or stall table, then please hand in to the halls before the Saturday or on the day or for more information, please speak to Amy. Our first All Age Kingz Kidz of the year will be Sunday, 24th February from 10.45am until 12.05pm in the John Finnie Street halls, all children and young people are welcome to come along and enjoy games, stories, songs and a snack. Please do not throw out all your Christmas postage stamps or unwanted postcards with stamps attached. Please give them to Esther Douglas for charities.
