Church News and Activities The Welcome Team today and on Sunday, 26th January is Janice Grant, Lesley Shedden, Pat Armstrong, Nana Lauchlan, Ellen Stewart, Alan Gregor, Neil Hamilton, Stuart Layburn, Tom Dalziel, Margaret Ross, Anne Scullion, Annette McClymont, Gordon Armstrong, Miriam Patterson, Moira Goudie, Robert Clark and John Richmond. Worship on Sunday, 26th January will be conducted by the Minister beginning at 11.00am. All Age Kingz Kidz will take place from 10.45am until 12.05pm in the church halls. All children are welcome to come for games, songs, stories, crafts and a snack. Any dietary requirements should be known to Amy Tanner (amy_bh@hotmail.co.uk) beforehand. Tea and coffee will be served in the church immediately after the service. Fellowship of Kilmarnock Churches. Service THIS AFTERNOON at 3.00pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Presbytery Prayer Meeting on Saturday, 25th January from 10.00am to 10.45am in Kilmaurs - St Maur’s Glencairn Church. Tea and coffee will be served from 9.30am. Everyone welcome. Highlights Klub will meet on Monday, 27th January at 8.00pm in upper hall. An introduction to Yoga with Fiona. Kingz Kidz Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday, 29th February, from 10.00am to 12.00pm in the church halls. Tickets will be £2. We are looking for donations of cakes, baking, traybakes, bottles and raffle prizes. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and can be given to Amy Tanner or left on the stage in the halls for collection. Tickets are available from Amy Tanner. Lost Property. There is a considerable number of gloves, umbrellas, head scarves and plastic containers accrued over the last few weeks. Anyone laying claim to any of these items can find them on the far front pew near the Communion table left of the pulpit. If you have any used postage stamps, please give them to Esther Douglas as they are passed on to the Blind Club to be sold to deserving charities. It would be greatly appreciated if you could leave a border of about 8mm (1/2 inch). New Laigh Kirk Volunteers - Needing help with shopping, DIY, gardening or a lift to medical appointments? EACHa runs a drop-in for homeless and vulnerable people in our John Finnie Street halls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. On offer is food, friendship, advice and hope for the future. Volunteers are always welcome, to help prepare the food or to make our guests feel welcome. Open Doors. New Laigh Kirk will be opening its doors to all on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12noon to 2.00pm. The Church will be open for a period of solitude or reflection; to see the stained glass windows from the inside; or to find out some of the history of the church and town. A few copies of the Order of Service in large print are available. Please speak to a member of the duty team if you require one. There is an induction loop system for the hard of hearing.
