Welcome to New Laigh Kirk We are delighted you are here today and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you. There will be a short service of communion in church immediately after the service. Whether you are a guest or regular attender we invite you to find your welcome place among us, a place to belong, to join in regular worship, to join in the life of our Kirk. As part of the family of God and gifted with many and varying talents, we try to use these gifts to deepen our faith, care for each other, and to spread into our town and parish the good news of God’s love for all. Church News and Activities Worship on Sunday, 10th March will be conducted by the Minister beginning at 11.00am. Kingz Kidz and Trekkers should meet at 10.50am in church. Crèche facility in Session Room for children under three years of age. Tea and coffee will be served in church immediately after the service. Elders should collect March issue of Magazine from Session Room. Guild will meet on Monday, 4th March at 7.15pm in lower hall. Guild Project: "Faith in Young People" The Boys' Brigade. Music and Movement will meet on Tuesday, 5th March at 2.00pm in lower hall. Prayer Group will meet on Wednesday, 6th March at 7.00pm in the church. All are welcome but if you cannot come in person, please leave a prayer request in the box in church or on our Facebook page. Welcome Group will meet on Wednesday, 6th March at 7.30pm in Session Room. Guild of Friendship will meet on Thursday, 7th March at 2.00pm in lower hall. Daffodil Tea. Friendship Group will meet on Wednesday, 13th March at 2.00pm in lower hall. 'The Mystery of God', produced by Christians Together in Britain and Ireland is the title of the series of discussion sessions for Lent 2019. Beginning on Wednesday, 13th March for five weeks, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, the meetings will be held in the Session Room. Further information from Janice Grant. Everyone will be made very welcome. Silver Sunday will be on Sunday, 24th March at 2.30pm in the church. This is a short afternoon of praise for our senior members followed by tea and cake. Everyone welcome. The Welcome Group are holding a "Mother’s Day" family disco on Saturday, 30th March. Tickets, priced £6 including buffet, are available from Bill Sherry or Margaret Brown. Please join us for a night of fun and fellowship. EACHa runs a drop-in for homeless and vulnerable people in our John Finnie Street halls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. On offer is food, friendship, advice and hope for the future. Volunteers are always welcome, to help prepare the food or to make our guests feel welcome. To find out more, contact Janice Grant.
