New Laigh Kirk A caring welcoming church at the heart of Kilmarnock reaching out to you

Welcome to Worship Fourth Sunday of Easter 3rd May 2020 Minister: Rev. David S. Cameron Session Clerk: Derek I’Anson Organist: Martin C. Sharp

Welcome Welcome to worship. We are delighted you are able to join us on line today as the Minister celebrates the sacrament of Holy Communion and hope you enjoy worshipping with us through your on line connection. This order of service is posted to help you with the live stream. Please ensure you log on through the New Laigh Kirk Website http://www.nlk.church/ and click the button watch live Sunday 11.00am.

Please note, as per our monthly practice, I will offer a short celebration of the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper 10mins after the main service. If you wish to join me at home please provide for yourself and those sharing with you a small piece of bread and small glass of wine or fruit juice that you may take during this service. Whilst not physically together to communally share this Holy meal it nevertheless remains a sign of the thing signified, the spirit unites us from where we are to one another as an invisible grace. May God richly bless you sharing with us in this way.

The Lord’s my shepherd, I’ll not want; He makes me lie in pastures green. He leads me by the still, still waters, His goodness restores my soul. And I will trust in You alone, And I will trust in You alone, For Your endless mercy follows me, Your goodness will lead me home. He guides my ways in righteousness, And He anoints my head with oil, And my cup, it overflows with joy, I feast on His pure delights. And I will trust in You alone, And though I walk the darkest path, I will not fear the evil one, For You are with me, and Your rod and staff Are the comfort I need to know. And I will trust in You alone, Prayer of Intercession Take this moment, sign, and space; take my friends around; here among us make the place where your love is found. Take the time to call my name, take the time to mend who I am and what I’ve been,

all I’ve failed to tend. Take the tiredness of my days, take my past regret, letting your forgiveness touch all I can’t forget. Take the little child in me, scared of growing old; help me here to find my worth made in Christ’s own mould. Take my talents, take my skills, take what’s yet to be; let my life be yours, and yet, let it still be me. Sermon Prayer of Dedication I will sing the wondrous story Of the Christ who died for me,How He left the realms of glory For the cross on Calvary. Yes, I'll sing the wondrous story Of the Christ who died for me,Sing it with His saints in glory, Gathered by the crystal sea. I was lost: but Jesus found me, Found the sheep that went astray, Raised me up and gently led me Back into the narrow way. Yes, I'll sing the wondrous story Of the Christ who died for me,Sing it with His saints in glory, Gathered by the crystal sea. He will keep me till the river Rolls its waters at my feet: Then He'll bear me safely over, Made by grace for glory meet. Yes, I'll sing the wondrous story Of the Christ who died for me,-

Sing it with His saints in glory, Gathered by the crystal sea. Benediction
