Do this In Remembrance of me

Welcome A very warm welcome to our worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk. We are delighted you are here today and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you.

New Laigh Kirk - a place to belong Whether you are a guest or regular attender we invite you to find your welcome place among us, a place to belong, to join in regular worship, to join in the life of our Kirk in whatever capacity and in your own appropriate way. You will see that there are many people of all ages seeking to serve within New Laigh Kirk as well as the wider community. As part of the family of God and gifted with many and varying talents, we try to use these to deepen our faith, care for each other, and to spread into our town and parish the good news of God’s love for all. May God richly Bless you in your worship today.

Sermon There is Love That came for us Humbled to a sinner's cross You broke my shame and sinfulness You rose again victorious Faithfulness none can deny Through the storm And through the fire There is truth that sets me free Jesus Christ who lives in me You are stronger You are stronger Sin is broken You have saved me It is written Christ is risen Jesus You are Lord of all No beginning and no end You're my hope and my defence

You came to seek and save the lost You paid it all upon the cross So let Your Name be lifted higher Be lifted higher Be lifted higher Statement of Faith We believe, praise and thank you, loving God, for you have visited and redeemed your people. In the fullness of time your Word shared our human frailty living as a baby, a child, a youth and an adult in this remarkable, yet at times crazy world. We believe that in Jesus we have been shown what you are always like; that his light is your light, his truth the divine truth, his peace and love is the peace and love that lasts forever. We believe that in childhood you are our closest friend, in teenage years the inspiration of our dreams, in mature years the guide and counsellor, and in the eventide you are the deathless companion. Because of Christ Jesus, the living Word, in our laughter, you are our joy, in sickness our healing, in turmoil our serenity, and in our grief you are the peace which this busy world cannot give. We believe in you and praise you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit One God, most wonderful, now and forever Amen Thanksgiving Prayer During the Thanksgiving prayer remain seated and sing when the Minister invites you to do so Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.

Blessed is he O blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. Hosanna in the highest The Lord’s Supper - Remembrance Video The Peace Rejoice! Rejoice! Christ is in you The hope of glory In our hearts He lives! He lives! His breath is in you Arise a mighty army We arise Now is the time for us To march upon the land Into our hands He will give the ground we claim He rides in majesty To lead us into victory The world shall see That Christ is Lord God is at work in us His purpose to perform Building a kingdom Of power not of words Where things impossible By faith shall be made possible Let's give the glory To Him now. Though we are weak, His grace Is everything we need We're made of clay But this treasure is within He turns our weaknesses Into His opportunities So that the glory goes to Him Benediction
