New Laigh Kirk - a place to belong You will see that there are many people of all ages seeking to serve within New Laigh Kirk as well as the wider community. As part of the family of God and gifted with many and varying talents, we try to use these to deepen our faith, care for each other, and to spread into our town and parish the good news of God’s love for all. Whether you are a guest or regular attender we invite you to find your welcome place among us, a place to belong, to join in regular worship, to join in the life of our Kirk in whatever capacity and in your own appropriate way. May God richly Bless you in your worship today.

Order of Service Gathering Song Welcome and Intimations Call to Worship Hymn 512 To God be the glory Prayer Reading

Romans 12:1-12

Victoria McDowall

Hymn 558 Lord, I lift your name on high All Age Address For I'm building a people of power And I'm making a people of praise, That will move thro' this land by My Spirit, And will glorify My precious Name. Build Your Church, Lord, Make us strong, Lord, Join our hearts, Lord, through Your Son, Make us one, Lord, in Your Body, In the Kingdom of Your Son. Act of Re-dedication The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want; He makes me lie in pastures green. He leads me by the still, still waters, His goodness restores my soul. And I will trust in You alone, And I will trust in You alone, For Your endless mercy follows me, Your goodness will lead me home. He guides my ways in righteousness, And He anoints my head with oil, And my cup, it overflows with joy, I feast on His pure delights. And though I walk the darkest path, I will not fear the evil one, For You are with me, and Your rod and staff Are the comfort I need to know. Offering Prayer asking God’s blessing on our offering and prayers for others

Rejoice! Rejoice! Christ is in you The hope of glory in our hearts He lives! He lives! His breath is in you Arise a mighty army We arise Now is the time for us To march upon the land Into our hands He will give the ground we claim He rides in majesty To lead us into victory The world shall see That Christ is Lord God is at work in us His purpose to perform Building a kingdom Of power not of words Where things impossible By faith shall be made possible Let's give the glory To Him now Though we are weak, His grace Is everything we need We're made of clay But this treasure is within He turns our weaknesses Into His opportunities So that the glory Goes to Him National Anthem Benediction
