Creating Facebook Cover Graphics using Canva >Create Canva Account >Open Canva
>Click “More...” at the far right of the page. >Scroll Down to “Social Media & Email Headers”. >Click “Facebook Cover”
>Just to the left of the “Share” button at the top, there is a temporary title. Click on it and a box will appear. Name your design there. >On the left side, find LAYOUTS. Some are labeled “free” and others have a $, which means there’s a charge to use them. Free elements are fine.
>Upload images from your files/desktop into the design by clicking the green “Upload your own images” button.
>Click on the image that you want & drag it into the design.
>There are editing options at the top to change your photo with filters, cropping, transparency, etc. >Click on the provided text or click on TEXT in the left menu to change content.
>When the provided text is highlighted, the font, size, color, style, orientation, case & bulleting is available in drop downs. “More” will provide a drop down with aspects such as text spacing. >You can always undo any of your work by clicking on the “Undo” button on the top left.
> Click on “File� on the top left to save your work. Download the design to your desktop (or your usual place to find elements easily). PNG is the best format for online designs.
>Building your Facebook Page/Group, you’ll be prompted to add a cover photo or you can change your existing cover photo by clicking on the camera icon on the bottom right for a page and top right for a group. Save the design where you can find it later - downloads, desktop... Creating your work in Canva ahead of time will make your Facebook Group or Page go much more smoothly.
