COMPETITION, 2011. AUTHORS: Nemanja Vuković, dr Aleksandra Đukić, Milena Vukmirović, Mira Milaković, Nevena Gavrilović, Maja Milošević, Renata Đurić, Stanislav Mirković. LOCATION: TRSTENIK, SERBIA Trstenik is a small post-industrial town in Central Serbia. The competition was to explore possibilities of spatial, economical and social development and ecological improvement on the regional level. Concept is based on the Creative city, a city of knowledge, with creative and sustainable industries based on local resources and creative class. Intervention can be separated on three different aspects: revival of deserted industrial building - Brownfield, building the new sustainable housing units in the existing agricultural land - Greenfield; reconstruction and revitalization of the town center.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 4 - SYNTHESIS, 2011. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: BLOCK 1, NOVI BEOGRAD Architectural - urbanistic suggestion for the intervention on the corner of the Zoran Đinđić Boulevard and Street of Omladinskih Brigada. Concept is based on reinterpretation of the existing design of the Modern architecture in the Block 1 (designed by the Branko Petričić in 1963). Two residential buildings are connected in the street level, forming a private backyard for the residents. Taller building contains thirteen penthouses, each with the floor area of 280 square meters. Second building is six storie high

Architectural Revival of Old Town in Pančevo
COMPETITION, 2011. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković, Maja Milošević LOCATION: PANČEVO, SERBIA Old Town in Pančevo is protected as urban core of big significance for the city. The competition was to design new meeting point for the residents of Pančevo. Proposed design is composed as one main module - wooden light box, that is multiplied and arranged by the users to correspond to their needs. Solution is flexible, mobile, economical and does not have negative impact to the protected urban core. It is possible in any moment to rearrange position of the modules.

Green Railway
Master project, 2013. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: DANUBE QUAY, BELGRADE, SERBIA Project is located in the unused industrial railway system, which separates 1970s open block (modernism) from the rest of the city. Project is based on the implementation of urban agriculture on the unused land, for the purpose for immediate implementation and activation of the location. Prefabricated steel structure will serve as a temporary (or permanent, depends on the needs of the users) building for the parking on the levels one and two, and market for the local grown vegetables on the ground level. Main characteristics of the project are: immediate implementation, flexibility (in function, space and time), easy and cheap assembly of structure.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 3 - URBANISM AUTHORS: Nemanja Vuković, Maja Milošević, Nevena Gavrilović, Renata Đurić, Nevena Damnjanović, Aleksandar Danšin, Nenad Jović LOCATION: METRO LINE 1, BELGRADE, SERBIA The topic of the course project was the Belgrade Subway and the influences that its construction would take on the given area. Main concept of the project was Creative City. Main goal was to ensure Creativity trough the movement. Detail urban solution was given for the two Subway stations: Cvetko’s Market Station and Law Faculty Station.

Public green areas at Cvetko’s Market Station
Pedestrian zones are reconstructed and walking has become more present. Main pedestrians routs are alongside Boulevard of Kralja Aleksandra and around Cvetko’s Market. Also, side pedestrian zones connects all new designed buildings and activities with station.
Green surfaces are distributed as green areas and sidewalk green. Big green public surfaces are located among blocks of Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra, which contributes to the ecological aspect of Creative City.

By creating new pedestrians routs, we are connecting activities on Park Tašmajdan with student pavilion which is located between Technical Faculties. This route becomes main pedestrian route, alongside with Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra.
Green surfaces are distributed in the Tašmajdan Park, while sidewalk green surfaces are located in the street sidewalks.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 1 - MASTER ACADEMIC STUDIES AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: KOSANČIĆEV VENAC, BELGRADE, SERBIA Educational Centre is located in the protected urban core of Belgrade. Main characteristic of the area is a terain in slope, that had much of impact on the design of the Center. Building is “buried” in the slope, which contributes to the sustainability of the object. Free facade faces south and has a view to the Sava river. Acess to the building is on the both sides of the slope (Karađorđeva street and Kosančićev Venac street).

DESIGN STUDIO, 2009. AUTHORS: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: UNKNOWN LAKE Lake House is located on the cliff of the imaginary lake. Sloped terrain is oriented towards south. This influenced distribution of functions inside the house: living room and daily activities are on the south facing console of 5 meters in lenght, night zone is on the east in the separated wing, while the kitchen and other secondary rooms are oriented towards the north, next to the entrance. Two separated wings are forming the inner open space, an atrium, which is directly connected to the daily activities.

Isover multi-comfort competition
COMPETITION, 2012. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković, Miloš Moravac, Stefan Pavić LOCATION: TRENT BASIN, NOTTINGHAM, GB. The subject of the competition is the design of a regeneration proposal and the creation of a sustainable neighborhood within this area. This should provide accommodation for 12-15 families, plus infrastructure, office areas, leisure and recreation, as part of the regeneration program, which is based on a new paradigm for sustainable post-industrial regeneration.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT M5, 2012. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: DUBLJANSKA STREET, BEOGRAD Concept of the building is based on ecological awareness. Natural materials - wood, is used as a facade. Good thermal insolation for reducing heat lost during the winter, and heat gain during the summer. Recycling the rain water and using thermal energy, which are the renewable energy resources. Planting the grass and the trees on the dens urban area is reducing the air and sound pollution and have positive impact from the ecological point of view.

Bussiness building with restaurant
DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT M6, 2013. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: DRAŽE PAVLOVIĆA STREET, BEOGRAD Building is placed on the corner of Draže Pavlovića street and Takovska street. Program is seperated into two main units: restaurant with the capacity for the 145 guests and the bussiness area, Poprečni which is presek, located R on1:300 the top floors. Facade is enveloped with the double skin glass, which is the main visual motive of the building.

COMPETITION, 2012, I PRIZE AUTHORS: Nemanja Vuković, Маја Milošević, Renata Đurić, Nevena Gavrilović, Milena Vukmirović, Aleksandra Đukić LOCATION: TRSTENIK CENTRE, TRSTENIK Competition task was to define social and economical development of municipality. Acording to established long term vision, project proposes phisical strucutre. Concept was based on the river and the potentials of the water. Center of Trstenik will be connected to the shores of the river with complementary functions and phisical structures.

SPA - Elective subject, 2010. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vuković LOCATION: HADŽI – MILENTIJEVA STREET 52, BEOGRAD Luxurious house with private SPA is placed in residential part of the city. Main characteristic is heterogeneous form, with separated SPA and service spaces (garage, studio etc.) from main cube, in which is placed standard living functions of house. One of the striking visual elements of the entire composition is use of the wood, in exterior as well as in interior.
