Across Long Isl Tennis Camps Return on Long Island
Kingsley Named ITA National Rookie of Year Ohio State freshman and Northport native Cannon Kingsley was named the ITA National Rookie of the Year, the final accolade on what was an outstanding first season competing for the Buckeyes. Kingsley, the first Ohio State player to earn rookie of the year honors, received the award during a special virtual awards ceremony. In addition to being named National Rookie of the Year, Kingsley was named an All-American in singles, won Big Ten Freshman of the Year and was a unanimous selection to the first team All-Big Ten. Tennis has returned to our lives after a multiple monthhiatus, and that means that summer camps are back in session as well. The local clubs and programs have done an excellent job of running the camps while maintaining social distancing and other safety guidelines.
