Information Purpose
Multiple sclerosis is a one of the most complex diseases in neurology that requires a comprehensive approach. This conference will provide effective strategies that will help with early diagnosis, appropriate stratification of disease modifying therapies and symptom management including rehabilitation medicine and urology. In addition, it will provide tools to diagnose and treat neuromyelitis optica and other diseases that can mimic multiple sclerosis.
Target Audience
The Mid-Atlantic Multiple Sclerosis Symposium is designed for the neurologist, physiatrist, internist, family medicine physician, physical and occupational therapists, and others treating patients with multiple sclerosis.
Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Eastern Virginia Medical School and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Eastern Virginia Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation
Eastern Virginia Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Hotel Accommodations
A block of rooms have been reserved at a group rate of $149 per night and includes waterpark passes. Participants may make reservations by calling the Central Reservations Department toll-free at 1-800551-9653 by February 5, 2015. Guests should reference Reservation #0315EVMS to receive the group rate. All reservations must be guaranteed by the individual and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Each individual has up to 72 hours prior to arrival date to cancel the individual room with a $40.00 cancellation fee per room. If the individual cancels the room within 72 hours of arrival, 100% of the first night’s room rate plus tax will be charged to the individual’s credit card or taken from the deposit.

Navigation or GPS device: 549 East Rochambeau Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23188-2148. From Washington DC / Baltimore, MD (North): I-95 to Capital Beltway. Take exit 27 onto I-495W. Merge back onto I-95 S at exit 57A. Take I-95 to exit 84A (I-295S), follow I-295 to exit 28A (I-64E). Take I-64 E to exit 234, merging onto 199E. Exit onto Route 603 East (Mooretown Road to Rochambeau Drive). Turn left, at the first light, onto E. Rochambeau Drive and follow for 1-1/4 miles. Great Wolf is on the right.
All cancellations must be made in writing prior to February 21, 2015 in order to receive a refund. A $50 administrative service charge will be assessed on all cancellations. No refunds will be given after this date.
