Summer Advocacy Teleconference On July 21, 2010 from 6pm to 7pm, Public policy staff, Society volunteers, and a special guest will talk you step-bystep through how to visit with your legislators and provide you with tools for success. Join us and not only learn how to conduct a successful visit with your legislator but get the answers to the questions you have always wondered about: • • • • •
Why is it important to meet with your legislator? How do you set-up a visit? What tools are available to make your visit a success? What will you gain from visiting with your legislator? How do legislators feel about receiving visits from their constituents?
Create change and advance the mission of the National MS Society by meeting with your legislators and telling your story! YOU can make a difference in the lives of people with MS in Virginia!
