Commitment. Leadership. Integrity. Excellence. Teamwork.
These words represent core values that guide the efforts of National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the volunteers who move the mission forward. There are other words that guide us too – words such as Love, Hope and Inspire – that help drive the Movement for a world free of MS.

The MS Snowmobile Tour marks its 30th year January 24-26, 2013. Ride between 100 and 150 miles a day on beautiful groomed Northern Wisconsin trails. Join other snowmobile enthusiasts for an allinclusive, fully-supported weekend that raises money for MS research and related services. Visit MSsnowmobiletour.org.
t MS MuckFes 14 er Septemb MuckFest MS is the newest – and dirtiest – way to join the Movement. With five miles of mud-filled trenches, slip-n-slide pits and moon-sized muck-packed craters, you’ll experience what’s described as more thrills, spills and sustained laughter than any obstacle run. Funds raised support services for people living with MS in your community. Visit MuckFestMS.com.
Walk MS: April 21, 27 & 28 May 4 & 5, 11
Walk MS is the rallying point for the multiple sclerosis Movement – a time when communities come together to raise awareness, raise funds and celebrate how much closer we are to a world free of MS. Multiple walks are held throughout Wisconsin each spring. Visit walkMSwisconsin.org.
Challenge Walk MS September 20 - 22 It’s as much about the journey as it is the destination. Challenge Walk MS sets a high bar with a three-day, 50-mile walk and a $1,500 fundraising minimum. It rewards you at the same level with an inspirational all-inclusive getaway in beautiful Door County surrounded by friends new and old. A two-day, 30-mile option is also available. Visit challengewalkMSwi.org.
Bike MS:
Best Dam August 3 Bike Ride -4
The 30th Annual Bike MS: Best Dam Bike Ride, August 3-4, 2013, promises to be the best yet. Riding from the Milwaukee area to Madison with an overnight in Whitewater, cyclists of every level raise money to cure multiple sclerosis. Visit bestdambikeride.org.
Do It You rself ( Fundrais DIY) ing
Do It Yourself (DIY) Fundraising is an opportunity for anyone committed to the MS cause to raise awareness and donations in new and creative ways. Several DIYs are noted in the calendar; more are available on the Wisconsin Chapter’s website. Visit wisMS.org and click on “Do It Yourself Fundraising” to find an event or create your own.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. The Wisconsin Chapter provides research, advocacy, educational programs and support services for more than 10,000 children, women and men in the state diagnosed with MS, as well as their friends, family and healthcare providers.
MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn’t.
