HELP A LOCAL NHS CHARITY TO WIN A MOVEMENT FOR GOOD GRANT

Northamptonshire Health Charity is once again calling on its supporters and the local community to help them win a £1,000 Movement for Good Award this June, coordinated by Benefact Group.

The Movement for Good Awards is an annual programme of giving, set up by all the specialist financial services companies that make up the Benefact Group. It provides them an opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of the people and communities they serve, by supporting the charities, not-for-profit organisations, and community interest projects that mean something to you. Yet again this year they are donating more than £1 million to charities.

To help Northamptonshire Health Charity be in with a chance of winning one of the £1,000 grants in June all you have to do is visit https://movementforgood. com/#nominateACharity and search for their registered charity name Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund - and complete the form. It takes less than a minute.

The more nominations they receive, the greater the chance of winning a grant, so once you’ve done your part, please spread the word and make it a movement… for good!

The charity received a £1,000 donation in one of last year’s Movement for Good rounds which is benefitting the Serenity Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Northampton.

The family room at the centre, which is run by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), is over 12 years old. Being very well utilised it requires a refresh so the £1,000 from the grant will help to make a huge difference as part of the £4,700 funding from Northamptonshire Health Charity to bring it up to date.

The changes will make the environment more calming and comfortable for those who have to use it at what is a very difficult and stressful time.

Another grant from the charitable giving initiative will go a long way in making a difference. All donations to Northamptonshire Health Charity help to enhance patient care and experience as well as support the wellbeing of local NHS staff at Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital and across the community hospitals and mental health services provided by NHFT.
