Since 2005, NOA Studio provides client-focused consultation within a collaborative approach to each project. Integrity in design, connection to the client and balance in our corporate culture are integral to our identity.
Our aim is to define the space using the dialogue between light and form, to create specific environment for each project.
These principals help us to define fourth dimension architecture: to use the space by dictating the rhythm, direction and movement through the space; causing the senses and emotions; where architecture is not static, where architecture transforms into scenario. We deliver timeless products and create remarkable experiences through the integration of local vernacular, innovative design solutions and meticulous detail. Above all we value the collaborative design and development process, and are committed to our position as stewards both the land and design process.

New design and programming for the Tbilisi, Georgia
Berikoni Office and Facade Intervention in the Old City of Tbilisi location: Old Tbilisi, Georgia area: 300,00 m2 data: October 2011 stage: Project stopped
concept: The request was to bound the new casino building and the unfinished construction of the side faรงade, in a way that it would suite the old part of the city.
The program was a small office with an interior garden and site view terrace.
It was developed a transition with an artistic facade intervention, replicating the waves of the new casino building, changing materiality and getting its references from the old balconies and patterns of Tbilisi.

Radisson Blu Swimming Pool Seasonal swimming pool at the Radisson Blu Hotel location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 950,00 m2 data: December 2011 stage: Construction completed
concept: This project was developed for a seasonal exterior swimming pool with independent facilities.
Relief side slope of the Radisson Blu Hotel allowed the development of project with two levels, therefore allowing to create
infinity swimming pool that pours down to the lower terrace. Levels are also divided by materiality: wood and concrete. With natural and free use, this new facility, located in the city centre, provides comfort and social interaction as well as the retreat from the city life.

House in Chakvi Summer house in the Black Sea location: Chakvi, Georgia area: 300,00 m2 data: January 2012 stage: Construction completed
concept: The original land plot presents a very hard triangular shape, near of a railway, were it was supposed to develop a private house with minimum three bedrooms and a guest bedroom.
The linear plan used in the concept, that follows the limit of the terrain, allows us to close the house to the railway and open it to the sea side. This openings are developed by a game of window frames, reflection of the negatives, cut-outs
in the volumetric game and interaction with the land plot. In the extension of the interior living, the infinity pool is created in order to connect with the real water element of the Black Sea.

Villa in Shekvetili Summer Villa in the Black Sea location: Shekvetili, Georgia area: 4000,00 m2 data: April 2013 stage: Project development
concept: The request for this project was to develop a contemporary villa in the sea side with a certain Mediterranean environment using a special construction element, the “arch.
The interpretation of the arch and how its possible to build and to create interesting living spaces with this element, was the focus of this project.

Rose Revolution Square & Iveria Cafe Reabilitation of the Rose Revolution Square location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 8000,00 m2 data: March 2013 stage: Construction completed
concept: Rose Revolution Square is the ending of main Rustaveli Avenue. Built in early 80’s as a cover slab of an underground complex, former Republic square was used for military parades.
With new intervention we created a green “promenade” that gives continuity to the Rustaveli Avenue. It draws the pedestrian path with contractions and dilatations in the space to define different uses along the square. We chose Corten
steel as material to build the elements that composes this square due to the military symbolism that this square once represented, as this material is widely used to build the military tanks.
The emergent pavilion, now turned into café, ensures the resting point with overlooking view to the city.

Restaurant Complex at RRS Building for the ethnographic food culture in Georgia location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 4000,00 m2 data: May 2013 stage: Construction Completed
concept: Raised from the structure of an old sculpture from the Soviet Union period, the building drives its shape with one thin line of concrete, around its limits in terms of legal bounding and perfect integration between the existing buildings.
The wooden shutters in the facade, refer to the ethnographic materiality used in Georgia and also they work as perspective frames over the city and mountains.

Narinji Aparthotel Aparthotel next to the Botanical Garden location: Batumi, Georgia area: 3000,00 m2 data: December 2013 stage: Construction in progress
concept: Following the levels and curves of the existing walls, the project is developed in a way to achieve maximum integration in the landscape. The building is now part of the nature, and this one is an extension of the new building.
With this directions we created interior living areas and exterior leisure areas, always in dialogue with the surrounding environment.
The balconies help in the communication between interior and exterior areas and the chosen materiality underlines this connectivity with the local spirit.

Hotel Park Inn - Telegraph Development of the public floors in Park Inn Hotel location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 3 000,00 m2 data: March 2014 stage: Project development
concept: The building remounts to the 70’s, with a character of the latest Soviet Union construction buildings developed in Georgia, where all the post-office and telegraph services were located.
The intervention tries to keep the existing interior materiality, when it’s possible, and in a trendy way, mixes the new design
features (needed for a good and comfortable young hotel), with the proposed new materiality reflecting the old post office and telegraph building.

Metekhi Design Hotel - Golden Tulipe Transformation of old Office building into Hotel location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 4 200,00 m2 data: September 2014 stage: Construction in progress
This hotel project, points to a very specific niche of the market, where the design hotel or boutique hotel rooms are in great demand, increasing fast their percentage in the hospitality market.
The materiality that defines this proposal is pre-existing as well as a strong connection to the local materiality - Georgian brick. With a monolith developed by a single material, we maintain the purity of the volumetric building.
The modular bays tear in the rooms different frameworks of the surrounding landscape, at the same time developing an asymmetrical rhythm on the facade, thus creating a new and younger dynamic exterior image, required by the new program.

House in Tskneti Private house in the region of Tskneti location: Tskneti, Georgia area: 1750,00 m2 data: October 2014 stage: Construction in progress
The challenge of this project was to develop a house in a slope with relief. We built the house in the highest location
possible in order to take profit of the landscape, and at the same time to be invisible for the surrounding neighbours. For
that, we redraw the section of the plot, creating steps in the terrain, locating the house in an inter-medium point. Using the total length of the land-plot and a gallery distribution layout, we were able to fit the requested program. This way, the house is totally open to the landscape. The roof becomes the continuation of the upper garden. Between the house and
the upper gardens, we developed three courtyards in order to get natural ventilation to the house, as well as to create an extension of the interior living spaces.

Bagebi Apartment Building Development of an Apartment building in the area of Bagebi location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 1265,00 m2 data: May 2015 stage: Project Development
The legal restrictions imposed to the land-plot defined the volume of the building as well as the orientation and location
on the terrain. The vertical communication was pulled to the side of the building, in order to achieve better functionality, allowing the maximum useful area for the development of the interior spaces.
Using the orientation South/North, we play with social and private spaces side by side, developing a slow understanding of the space while we walk it through. The wide windows and the wooden shutters allow the control of the visual communication with the surrounding nature.

Rustaveli Residence - Penthouse Development of a Penthouse in a building at Rustaveli Avenue location: Tbilisi, Georgia area: 350,00 m2 data: July 2015 stage: Construction in progress
The building remounts to a recent construction, but is developed for a very special market. The request was to develop an interior layout and environment that would be completely disconnected from the existing building architecture. For that purpose, we use the natural light and pure materiality as tools to work the pre-existing volume/mass. To the opposition of
the pre-existing spaces we present the lack of decoration and the development of very minimal spaces. The use of the white colour for every materiality represents the purity of space in contrast to the exterior neo-romantic architecture of the existing building.
