It’s finally here...
Manü’s long-anticipated sport and luxury crossover has arrived.

HOW TO DRESS

What good is owning a luxury sports scooter if you don’t dress the part too? Follow these tips to ensure you look as expensive as that new scooter. For men, the single breasted suit is the most common of suit jackets. It can be dressed up with a peak lapel, and can be customized in different fabrics and colors. The double breasted (DB) suit is a statement itself; when having your suit tailored, decide your color and pattern wisely. Remember to always keep this jacket buttoned, even when sitting. Next we have the shirt. The first rule is to always buy a fitted dress shirt. The tip of your tie should meet your belt line, and your tie bar should be worn between the third and fourth button hole in your shirt. Your pants are the base of your look, and they should sit at the top of your hip bones, just below your navel. You should have some drape, but be careful so it doesn’t look as though your pants are too large. To ensure the best fit, have your pants custom made. Pay attention to details: make sure your socks match or complement your trousers - details matter a great deal! A great shoe to wear with your tailored suit is the Oxford shoe. If you want to take down the formality of the suit, wear a brown shoe, and don’t forget to use pocket squares. For women, collared button-ups and billowy blouses look
great on any type of shape or size. If you want to step outside of the box, opt for a floral or subdued print. Stay away from anything too overwhelming though – avoid bright colors and overtly bold prints. A blazer is a unifying garment that keeps your whole look together. Find a blazer in black, gray or nude and make sure it fits you at the shoulder. Cardigans are great alternatives in case you want to go for something less casual than a blazer, but still want to cover up. Cardigans can be layered over dresses or blouses. Stick to conservative colors to blazers like black, white, navy or gray. There are two routes you can go for casual bottoms. The classic black dress pants should be your go-to for a great professional look. Alternatively, a pair of black skinny pants are also a good option. Look for a well-fitting pair that hit right below your ankles. You don’t want them to be too long and drown you out. You will probably need to try a few pairs on, but they’re worth the trouble to find the right pair. Flats or loafers are a great option for comfortable casual footwear. Not only do they come in different styles, but they will keep you comfortable all day long. Find a pair that fits your taste and will also have a long life-span. Avoid prints and bright colors, choose subtle colors like black and gray which will go with everything.

THE ELON MUSK

An interview with JOHN MANü Eliza sat down with the elusive and eccentric John Manü to discuss what led up to his interest in the engineering of luxury sport scooters, and his plans for complete scooter automation. The Manu X7 has finally been made available for purchase and it is no surprise that most online retailers have found themselves out of stock of the pricey luxury machine. You were an engineer before you became a businessman. What made you want to go into this business in what essentially was an extremely crowded market?
I actually brought it with me to show off! I try to take care of my X0 since Sidewinder 3’s are fairly rare now it would be difficult to have any replacements. I try not to use it too often. When the X4 released you were having some stiff competition. That quarter, Saxon had released their Panzer which if you recall had been dominating the market. What was going on at Manu at the time?
We were all having a meltdown. The Panzer was definitely the most innovative scooter during that time, and Well Valor had just released I would say that was my first their Sidewinder 3 model taste of real failure. The X4 and I recall it being the talk was popular enough, but I of the town within my circle think we failed to really capof friends. I nicknamed er, but nothing really came that scooter the X0, and my of those experiments. You friends liked it so much they entered the scene and had had me make modifications already been laying the to theirs. Pretty soon I was groundwork so soon, a lot designing my own scooters. of people are surprised that some of their older models Do you still have your origiwill be able to take advantage nal X0? of some automation. Why are
you pursuing this when so many others have failed? I didn’t want to leave people behind on something that is really the future. The X and Z series in particular are really the standard bearer for scooter automation, and I’m glad they are because I’m very proud of the work I, and my team have done on both of those projects. The X7 will be the first complete and functional automated scooter by 2021 and I expect it will transform the market. I want to bring scooters into the future, and I’ll be the first to do it right. Do you own a Tesla? I haven’t felt the need to to be honest. I might get a Model S if Elon buys an X7. Do you own any cars? I do not own any motor or electric cars, no. I go wherever my X7 can take me, and if it can’t take me far enough, it’s because I’d need a plane. That sounds like I’m boasting, but the X7 is so much more powerful than it’s predecessors, I genuinely was able to sell my vehicles and use it instead. I just make sure to pack an umbrella.

11 In order to avoid ending up like this, you must take proper care when riding your scooter, whether this is your first foray into the scooter lifestyle, or if it isn’t your first rodeo. We will provide photographic, and written instructions on how to properly and safely operate a scooter. In order to avoid serious injury, it is highly reccommended that you wear padded protection for your head, elbows, hands, and knees. Death or serious injusry can occur in the event of a collision if no padding is being worn. There’s no room on standard electric scooters for two people, and nothing for the second person to hold on to. Also, it’s worth noting: Most scooters have a weight limit of around 220 pounds, so if you’re injured while riding tandem, plan on being held accountable.
12 Both CDC and UCLA researchers found that drinking may have played a role in the injuries suffered by scooter users. In the CDC study, one-third of respondents acknowledged that they drank alcohol in the 12 hours prior to getting injured. Driving a scooter instead of a car isn’t safer, and yes you can still get a DUI. Scooter regulations vary from city to city, so it’s up to you to know the rules. If you’re not allowed on the sidewalk, stay in the road. If you’re riding alongside traffic, use hand signals. Wear reflective clothing and if you need to carry something, bring a backpack. Before stepping on board, do a visual inspection by walking around the scooter and looking for any signs of damage or unusual wear. The wheels should be true and lights and batteries sufficiently powered. At the start of your ride, test the brakes and throttle.
