Study Course Instructions This study course is designed to be done both in a course room, mosque, study-group or self-paced at home. Certain parts of this course (Key Word Study) will be done with a partner. Other parts will be done independently (by yourself). When its time to partner, you and your partner (twin) are to follow the steps provided in this guide. The study course is laid out in the order you do them. It is important not to skip any steps of the guide. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED IN OUR CLASSES. Purpose of this Study Course Guide: The purpose of this study course guide is to guide you through this course of study. Time to Complete: Although the hour and a half that we have for study this evening will hopefully allow you to progress through most of this study, however it is strongly recommend that you continue to work on this study course at home at your own pace. Important Note: During the study course session, if you have any questions raise your hand for assistance. Each believer (student) should have a copy of this handout and its instructions to take home and continue studying on their own. All steps may not be completed in the class sessions in its entirety.
Study Course Steps Step 1: Key Word Clearing Key words are important words related to key concepts found in the reading. Having a good understanding of the meanings of these words will help each student better understand the important concepts and ideas of the study, as well as eliminate misunderstandings that come with misunderstood words. Use the key word list and definitions found in this packet to do the drill (exercise) a and b.
1.) Select a partner (closest to you) and study the Key Words together, through reviewing the questions and answers to master. (If done in course room or mosque/study group the time allotted is 30-45 minutes) 2.) First time through: The student has the questions and answers in front of him or her. The partner asks the student the question, and the student answers it. He/She can look at the answer if needed. The answer does not have to be word-for-word or memorized; just the concept must be correct. 3.) Second time through: Once finished with the drill the first time, you start again from the beginning, this time without the answers in front of you. Your partner asks the question and you answers. If the answer is incorrect, your partner shows you the answer. Look at the answer again and repeat until you have grasped the concept, then continue to the next one.
Step 2: Independent Reading After completing step one, you may begin to read the selected reading materials. Step 3: Check Your Understanding Questions: Time Frame: 30 min Review the lists of questions. Each question Time Frame: min is formulated to check your30 understanding of the key concepts and ideas found in the reading. Answer each question on a sheet of paper and be prepared to discuss your answers at the conclusion of this session. Sufficient time may not be given during class session to answer all of the questions. If you do not finish in class, please continue this step at home.

“IN THAT DAY, YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL SUSTAIN YOU”
CONTINUED
By The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan Previously, in Surah 30:30, it reads: “Set your face for religion, being upright, the nature made by Allah in which He has created men. There is no altering Allah’s Creation. That is the right religion, but most people know not.” In both of these ayats, or verses, we are told to “set” ourselves, make ourselves firm in our religion. But at the same time, being upright, for it is being upright that will get us through the Dark Hour that we have entered.
Jesus’ Parable of ‘The Kingdom of God’
S
tudy in the Bible the Book of Matthew, Chapter 13, where Jesus is giving parables of “The
Kingdom of God.” Jesus said a sower went forth to sow; and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth, and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth; and when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up, and choked them. But others fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Jesus then asked, “Who hath ears to hear let him hear,” and the Disciples came and said unto him, “Why do you speak unto them in parables?” And so later on, Jesus gives the meaning, saying: “Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart—this is he which received seed by the way side. “But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Then hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. “He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” 4

Jesus goes on talking about “The Kingdom of God”: “The Kingdom of heaven”—now, this is where we believe we are—“is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. “But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, ‘Sir, didst not you sow good seed in your field? from whence then hath it tares?’ He said unto them, ‘An enemy hath done this.’ The servants said unto him, ‘Will you not, then, that we go and gather them up?’ “But he said, ‘No; lest while you gather up the tares, you root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” And again, Jesus goes on to explain the meaning of that: “…He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; “The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” In that day, our righteousness will sustain us.
Study Your General Orders
R
ight now, among The Believers, there are sincere Believers. And among The Believers are deadly
Hypocrites: Hypocrites whose aim is to defeat The Spirit of The Believer to do The Work of Salvation. Hypocrites whose aim is to cripple the charitable Believer, making them believe that their charity goes for naught, but to make certain individuals rich at the expense of the poor. Hypocrites—deadly Hypocrites—want to take the True Believer who wants to be a Soldier, and make him a Soldier in an army like the devil by turning you into thugs rather than saviours. So when you are in a House that is filled with Hypocrites along with The Believer, the tare looks just like the wheat! These Hypocrites say “As-Salaam Alaikum”; they say, “Al-Hamdu Lillah”—but if you listen to them carefully, their words are the words of a snake, as the scriptures teach that the poison of asps is under their tongue… Their mouth is an open sepulcher. A “sepulcher” is a tomb; and when you listen to them, you find your spirit dying, and you don’t have the will to 5

go out and help to save our poor and suffering people. So in closing, I wanted to ask all the Believers to refresh your memory of The General Orders, for they are so valuable for a Soldier: General Order No. 1: “Take charge of this post and all temple property in view.” General Order No. 2: “To walk my post in a perfect manner, keeping always on the alert.” These General Orders are for Soldiers in The Army of Allah! These General Orders when followed will protect the integrity of the Mosque. And when you follow these General Orders, you will be able to spot that smart, crooked Deceiver. Why? Because you are: General Order No. 3: “To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.” We are enforcing righteousness! So when somebody violates righteousness, and we know it, it is our duty to report it! That’s not “snitching,” that’s reporting a virus in your House that must be dealt with in order for The Body to remain Strong and Healthy! General Order No. 5: “To quit my post only when properly relieved.” You don’t walk out on your word to Allah! You gave your word to Allah, that your prayer, your sacrifice; my prayer, my sacrifice—my life, your life! My death, your death!—is all for Allah, The Lord of The Worlds! You get disappointed because of “this” and “that,” and you walk away? Walk away from what to what? Well no, The House is not “perfect”—none of us are! But if you’re looking for “perfection,” then wait until God cleans the House! And I wonder when He cleans it, will you be standing? In that day, your righteousness will sustain you. General Order No. 9: “To allow no one to commit a nuisance on or near my post.” Look, if we, as Muslims, are together in a room, and someone breaks out a reefer and starts smoking, the rest of you that are in that room: What should your duty be to the one who is violating The Restrictive Law of Islam? You throw that person out! You shut that person down! You report that person to those in authority that they may be dealt with according to The Law! Because when your House gets dirty, then Death comes on the heels of a dirty House! Cleanliness is sanity; and wickedness is insanity, so when we allow wickedness to flourish and we sit around with it, have sympathy for it; enjoin those who are doing it—and join them in it—then we are a filthy group that will not be sustained in this Hour of God’s Chastisement! We have to change brothers and sisters! We have to give up the way of this world, or die with the world when the world goes down! What are you going to do? “He will send saviours after our people…” How many of you have gone out in the neighborhood with The Final Call newspaper, knocking on the door? 6
4
So what if they reject you? That’s the Path of the Prophets! That’s the Path of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad! That’s the Path of your Brother Minister: I am “rejected of men,” and I am “hated for no cause” but that I stand on The Message that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad gave!
A Warning To The Rebellious Ones Now I will say this to all of you who want to go out and be a “minister”: I make ministers today! I represent The Father! And if you cannot come and surrender yourself, and come under Order from God’s Apostle, and His Aaron, then what does The Prophecy say about you? The scripture teaches in Numbers 21:6 that those who rebelled against Moses and Aaron were bitten by fiery serpents: “And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.” Are you going to be a rebellious one? You want the praise of being a “big shot”—but you can’t bring yourself into subjection to a man that God’s Messenger has Anointed and God Himself has sanctioned in front of you? You can’t submit to him, and help him; and allow him to make you into that kind of man or woman that you want to be? You can study “Dianetics” until all of the books are written, but you still won’t make it in The Kingdom of God without God’s Message, without God’s Man, and without God’s Sanction! So I’m asking you: If you really want to help, separate yourself from that which God condemns. Separate yourself from those who make mockery of this Teaching. Separate yourself from “family” and “friends” who don’t want to live a righteous life, for in that day, our righteousness will sustain us. I am a Soldier in The Army of Allah. Though I am hated, I want no carnal weapons around me. My Allah, from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his Teachings, is sufficient. He said to me: “Brother, if Allah cannot save me, that’s a sign that He cannot save you.” I preach to the world that our Father escaped a Death Plot, and is Alive and Well on The Wheel, and in Power! God saved him, so I know that I don’t care what they plan against me: My Lord will deliver me! And He will deliver you! Remember:
In That Day, Our Righteousness Will Sustain Us! May Allah bless you with Peace. May He grant you His Mercy. May He grant The Nation His Protection. May He Guide and Bless those who are infirmed, those who are sick, and those who may be on their death-bed. Allah Gives Life, and He takes it when He pleases! We are all here to serve His Purpose, so fear not death or life, because it all is in The Hands of A Mighty God. Thank you for reading these words. As-Salaam Alaikum.

STEP 3: Check Your Understanding The following questions are for discussion at the conclusion of the study session. The remaining questions can be completed at your own pace as you continue your study at home. You can use your book if you need help answering the questions. Write your answers on a sheet of paper.
Questions For Discussion: 1. In Matt 13, Jesus gives the parable of the sower of the seed. Describe and discuss the seeds that fell in the various places and how each relates to us in this hour. 2. What is the aim and activity of the deadly hypocrite? 3. What spirit does the hypocrite cause the believer to have? 4. Why do we have general orders? What is its purpose? 5. What causes one to walk away from their post? Why don’t we leave our post until properly relieved? 6. What is the path of the Prophets? 7. What must we do if we really want to be helpers of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan? 8. Why is righteousness the only option if one wants to be sustained in this day? Whose days are we living in?
Questions For Further Study: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
What is the Kingdom of God likened unto? What is meant by "...while men slept"? Who sows the good seed? What/who does the tares represent? If a student minister does not surrender and submit to orders from God's Apostle and His Aaron, what is the Prophesy relating to the consequences?
