In 2019 a team of health economists from Costello Medical carried out an eight month pro bono investigation into the Social Return On Investment of Noise Solution’s work. The team were given a brief to be conservative in their assumptions, and only claim what could be robustly evidenced. We also are not claiming things which didn’t happen (for example we know anecdotally that we have diverted a number of young people away from acute mental health services, but because it didn’t happen we haven’t claimed it as a saving). Their work has shown that Noise Solution produces a 334% return on investment. So for every £1 spent, we return £3.34 in savings to ‘the system’.
