Our love for wine took us to Ensenada, Mexico where we discovered great quality wine and made a link with art. Wine is alive and an art expression.
The first Mexican Artisan wine that loves art.
LIFE IS JUST A MOMENT.
WE LABEL PEOPLE, SITUATIONS, WE LABEL OURSELVES
AND WE BELIEVE THAT LABELS LIMIT. WE WANT TO RE-LABEL THE WAY YOU SEE WINE, WITHOUT JUDGING IT FROM THE OUTSIDE. LIFE,
AS A CANVAS IS PLAIN WHITE. THAT IS
THE REASON WHY WE INVITE YOU TODAY THAT YOU ARE ALIVE,
TO REFLECT YOUR VITALITY.
Chaz Boj贸rquez
Hello, I´m Judith, one of the founders of No Label Wine. It all started 3 years ago, when Isaac, my brother, discovered the treasures of Ensenada´s wine and dreamed of approaching it to younger palates. I attended an opening of an international grafitti exposition in Mexico City where Chaz Bojorquez later spoke about the lack of Mexican proposals in graffiti art. Isaac stood up and asked in front of the audience if he could collaborate with his dream, as we both love art, wine and Mexico. Chaz has been painting since the 40´s, travels around 36 countries per year with his artwork, merging calligraphy and other different techniques. Among many awards and recognitions, he designed the Star Wars logo. He agreed to have dinner with us and now we have the compromise to make something really special in order to meet him in September 2012 and collaborate with him with a special edition design. Dreams make you take action, we are very aware of death, so...
why wait to make it happen?
It is a blend of Misi贸n, Grenache and Tempranillo grape vines. Given a plum red with violet, showing its youth, with a bright and clean appearance. It is perceived by the smell the aroma of ripe red fruit, notes of black fruits like cherry and prune. Low alcoholic degree and very nice to the palate. On the palate with soft attack, long finish, medium body, low perception of generosity of spirit, light aftertaste of wood, and lots of fruit. Pairing .- A wine to drink at any time, you can pair it with a salad, soup, red meat, duck, or cheeses. It can also be served as a digestive. We suggest to drink it cool, from 6 to 8 Celcius, yes, it is not common, it is No Label Wine. We strongly recommend to keep it opened on the rocks one hour before pouring it, oxygen will make the bouquet flourish in your glass and palate.
“One of the greatest red wines I ever tasted! Ricardo Nicolayevsky. Film maker and curator.
“Mexican Riesling and Chardonnay make quite a different statement.” Miguel Dávila, chef and founder of Gastronomercado.com.mx
Our white wine is at sight light yellow touches with some green dashes, of limpid appeareance and light body. With our smell, we can perceive fresh aromas of citric fruits and pineapple. In the palate it enters very smoothly, dancing between an acid and sweet flavor, fresh and fruity of sweet tase and excelent bouquet. Pairing .- You can pair it with salads, fish and pastas with smooth sauces, although we recommend you taste it with your favourite dish, serve it between 4 to 6 degrees celcius and because of its youth, it won´t attack your palate. Rotate your glass a bit, smell and take your time. Serve chilled after opening it and leaving the bottle on ice one hour before your senses get happy.
About the winery and the Cooperative. Located in the Valley of La Grulla, in Ensenada. It is the first valley where vines were planted in Latin America and since the 1890麓s the first grape vine planted was the misi贸n grape. Although this valley has traditionally been cultivated for wine grapes, it is not until a little over 20 years that new varieties are introduced, such as Palomino, Cabernet, Syrah, Sangiovese, Grenache, Nebbiolo and Merlot.
At first winemakers began to produce misi贸n wine grapes the most common variety in the area and made wine for their own consumption and distributed it in the area. In 2006 the wine business strenghtens in the valley and a cooperative is created, where approximately 36,000 liters of wine are produced from different varieties per year. There are 19 wine labels in the area and some of them have won national and international awards.
Labels were used as canvases and we invited artists to submit their best version of a skull, symbol of death and the opposite of wine. These were some of the results.

This piece is based on the essence of the Tehuana (a traditional femenine robe) and its colours. The veil or halo behind her head, is fundamental, like the huipil, skirt and the enagua (a particular garment). It is inspired bythe black ceramics from Oaxaca and the presence of the mother in our culture. It was merged with the image of the Russian Matrushka.Unconsciously, there is a slight reminisence with the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

In my work I explore new ways to relate the stroke, image time and memory. Generally it is is based on my experiences. My art tells stories, describe bitter and sweet moments; my job gives me the tools to just capture what happened one day and made my fibers have a new channel of concepts.

Dreams, dreams, to keep them alive and to make them happen you need to work and never stop visualizing them and they will eventually manifest into reality .Everything around me is my real inspiration.
