I wanted to explore the use of landform that looks flat from the top, but when it is looked at from the sides or from an angle, the extrusion and subtraction can be seen. The extrusion and subtractions were made from the techniques of tilting.

Narrative

The narrative talks about the activity “meet” - how the Sun and the Moon meet every now and then, separated by a “cluster of life” that is always changing and are at a very far distance from each other.

In the void of darkness, Your light touches me. But I can hardly reach, Blocked by a cluster of life, Always changing. For too long, We have been chasing, For a meeting. Between the bright And the oblique, I am circulating. We do meet, Every few months, 18? 19? or 20? It's lonely in the gaps, Of hundred of million of miles, Of time and distance, We are overhanging. Of those I see, Billions of copies, Bringing distant light, Sometimes so bright. But you; I’m closest to, The Sun and the Moon.

collage, taking the parts that stand out the most on the collage, that is thought to be able to speak on behalf of the narrative. This plan was then altered to speak the narrative more clearly and coherently. It shows the contrast between meet and separate, as the narrative talks about two bodies meeting, but also separated most of the time. The plan also shows the use of geometrical forms and free-forms.

The superimposition collage was made by superimposing the site map of Concrete Lawn, assemblage plan and narrative collage. The initial placement of all three layers was random, but then it was thought that the experimentation of concentrating the element that stands out the most on each layer at one spot was interesting. Hence, the Sun from the narrative collage and the polygon from the assemblage plan were placed in the middle of the Concrete Lawn map.

Experience

Experience is used to show the close-ups of materials used for the model, and the usage of each part of the structure.
