Our design philosophy is clear: Furniture and interior design from Nordal must allow you to create a cosy, personal and inspiring home. A home that shows the world who you are, through your styling and designs.

We’re driven by a strong passion for aesthetics, functionality and quality. Through our many years in the business, we have developed a close and unique cooperation with craftsmen and suppliers all over the world. These close relationships are essential to the continued design and realisation of quality products that unite aesthetics and functionality.

Nordal is a Danish interior design brand, but we’re so much more than that. Since 1995, we’ve been helping people across Europe create personal homes with unique furniture and home accessories – details that bring personality and ambiance to your home.

Nordal is run by three siblings – Signe, Mads and Emil Nordal – making them the second generation to run this family-owned business.

With their different approaches to the family business, Signe, Mads and Emil complement each other well, while sharing a clear common vision for Nordal: To create designs that tell a story. Stories about the home and the people living in it. Stories told through contours, colours, details and materials.

Every Nordal product is imbued with exclusivity. Yet we always strive for an unpretentious twist in the design or use. We want to inspire you to celebrate everyday life by drinking water out of crystal glasses. Or to mix and match different dining chairs around an exclusive marble table. We believe that embracing the unpretentious brings a unique authenticity to your home.

CLASSIC YET EDGY

We love natural materials such as wood, stone, marble, wool and cotton. They bring calm and balance to the interior décor. Most of Nordal’s products feature a classic, timeless look. But we build on the look by adding materials and products with edge and character. The result could be a vase with multiple functions or an unexpected combination of materials to create a certain expression.

SAFE YET DARING

Your home is personal. It tells your story and shows the world who you are. When designing new Nordal products, we always aim to create a broad and timeless base collection that will fit your home for a long time.
