Dear Friends I do hope you’ve seen our new willow sculpture in front of the historic Long Barn. We raised funds to commission artist Trevor Leat to create this joyful and uplifting work. Trevor returns this spring to plant living willow in amongst the figures, turning it into a truly ‘living sculpture’. He’ll also be holding willow weaving workshops for local teachers so we hope to see other willow creations sprouting up in schools around Maidenhead! Spring 2014 sees the launch of our new giving scheme to support Norden Farm. The assistance of our friends is essential to the continued growth of the Farm. If you’re not signed up already, I do hope you’ll consider joining us. As part of our aim to have fresh and inspirational content, I visit Edinburgh Festival every year to bring back treasures. This batch includes Austentacious - an improvised show using audience suggestions to create new Jane Austen text; All Roads lead to Rome - about one man’s journey to Italy in his vintage Triumph Herald; and Relatively Speaking, an edu-taining show about Albert Einstein. Look forward to seeing you here soon. Jane Corry Chief Executive and Artistic Director jane.corry@nordenfarm.org / www.facebook.com/jane.nordenfarm
