GOLDEN TRIANGLE DAY 1 OSLO After arrival self-transfer and check-in at your Oslo Hotel. Use the rest of the day to explore the major sights, shopping along the famous Karl Johan Street or just relax at charming Aker Brygge.
DAY 1 OSLO – KRISTIANSAND. B After breakfast, own transfer to the Central Train Station for the morning ride to Kristiansand, the most southern city of Norway. The city was founded by the Danish King Christian IV in 1641, and still has signs from that time. Kristiansand is also considered the sunniest place in Norway and definitely a popular place during the summer with the lovely archipelago just outside the city centre.
DAY 3 KRISTIANSAND – STAVANGER. B Enjoy your breakfast and stroll through the busy walking streets before in the mid-afternoon you board the train to Stavanger, Norway's oil capital and Heritage Festival Centre.
DAY 4 STAVANGER. B After breakfast we go cruising on the famous and majestic Lysefjord with the impressive Pulpit Rock rising nearly 2000 feet above sea level. Rest of the day at your disposal. Try the freshest fish you will ever taste in one of the many harbour restaurants.
DAY 5 STAVANGER - BERGEN. B Breakfast at the hotel. Own transfer to pier and an exciting tour through the archipelago of western Norway by hydrofoil to Bergen. Rest of the day free. A tram ride to Mount Floien is a must. It gives you the perfect view of the town and surrounding islands.
DAY 6 BERGEN. B Morning city tour starts right after breakfast, showing you the old Hanseatic trading centre, as well as a visit to Trollhaugen, the composer Grieg's home. Not incl. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city further and perhaps do some handicraft shopping
DAY 7 BERGEN - BALESTRAND. BD After breakfast departure by boat to Balestrand. Disembarkation right outside your hotel. The scenery is breathtaking and lovely villages on both sides of the fjord
DAY 8 BALESTRAND - FLÅM - OSLO. B After breakfast mini-cruise to Flaam, then by rail to Myrdal - a route claimed to be the most scenic in the whole of Europe. Arrival in Oslo and self-transfer to your hotel.
DAY 9 OSLO. B Breakfast and end of services for this tour.
