Day 1 : Arrival in Ioannina & Transfer to Monodendri Arrival in Ioannina and transfer to Monodendri. There will be one major transfer from the airport to the hotel. Settle in the hotel and rest of the afternoon free. Overnight in Monodendri. Day 2: Monodendri - Vitsa – Kipi (B,L) Start your hike from Monodendri, continue to the village of Vitsa to the village of Kipi. The path crosses many stone built bridges. Overnight in Monodendri. Day 3: Vradeto – Beloi – Skala Vredetou – Kapesovo (B,L) From Vradeto follow a gentle footpath to Beloi, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Vikos gorge. Day 4: Transfer from Monodendri to Mikro Papingo (B,L) Transfer from Monodendri to Mikro Papingo. Short walking tour of Megalo Papingo and Mikro Papingo. Overnight in Papingo. Day 5: Hike Papingo - Ano Kleidonia (B,L) Today hike from Papingo to Ano Klidonia village. Overnight in Papingo. Day 6: Hike Papingo - Voidomati spring (B,L) Walk down from Papingo to the Voidomatis springs. Overnight in Papingo. Day 7: Papingo – Mt. Astraka Refuge (B,L) Todays walk starts with 3 hours uphill from Mikro Papingo to the “Astraka” refuge on Mt. Gamila, at 1950m. Here we stop for our picnic and short rest. Return to Papingo. Overnight in Papingo. Day 8: Papingo – Ioannina Group transfer from Papingo to Ioannina.
