106’ SHALLOW DRAFT LRC 1
D E E P O C E A N V O YA G E R Inshore With its 5’4” draft, the Nordlund 106 Shallow Draft Long Range Cruiser gives you safer access to Caribbean shoals, Bahama back bays, and unlimited places where deeper draft yachts can’t go. Now instead of anchoring out, you can be closer to shore and all of the activities that your destinations offer.
Offshore The twin 1,361 HP MTU engines provide an 18 knot maximum speed, so you can reach your journey’s end before sunset. And Nordlund’s 50 years of creating world-cruising yachts gives you the confidence to push ahead, even in demanding weather conditions.
All Shores The 106 is a blue water voyager that’s able to reach any shore with its 5,500 gallon fuel capacity and 1,000 gallon water capacity. It also has the storage, water making ability and advanced systems to keep you comfortable on non-stop cruises of up to 3,500 miles.

S H A L LO W WAT E R E X P LO R E R Bahama Bays to Hawaii Harbors Very few 106’ yachts can anchor comfortably in the shallow azure waters and back bays of the Bahamas. Fewer still can haul anchor and head confidently on a trans-Pacific voyage to cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. The Nordlund 106 can.
Minimal Crew The 106 LRC has accommodations for a crew of four. Yet it’s designed so intelligently it can be handled capably by just a skipper and two owners. And with three large guest staterooms plus a main level master’s stateroom, it offers all the room and comfort needed for extended trips with friends and family.
Explore More With its world cruising abilities, the 106 can take you safely across deep blue seas. On arrival, its 5’4” draft can take you into the shallow shoals, back bays, nearshore docks and reef-protected lagoons that once were out of reach. Now you have a way to explore more.

FORMAL DINING GALLEY AND DININGAREA The large galley has a wraparound workspace with casual seating for five. There’s a 28” LCD TV over the double sink, plus 24” deep counters, an appliance garage and dish storage cabinets above the counters. Appliances include a 30” induction range, a 27” wide refrigerator, freezer drawers under counter and a dishwasher next to the sink. To port is a coffee bar with dedicated sink and specialty coffee maker, plus two large pantries with pull-out shelves. Aft of the coffee bar is a stairway leading up to the pilothouse. For more formal gatherings, seating in the dining area is for six with custom accent lighting above and under-cabinet lighting below. The large windows to starboard, port and aft provide scenic views during elegant dining. The open design of the galley lets you easily share conversations and visual communication between the galley the dining area with family and friends.

COMPUTER CENTER SALON, COMPUTER CENTER AND DINING The 106 provides a visual connection among three popular areas for maximum enjoyment. The salon aft has plenty of seating, and a nearby wet bar with a large counter, sink, icemaker, refrigerator, plus storage below and above. For entertainment, a 65” LCD TV rises from the cabinet and disappears when you’re done. And the panoramic views provide a remarkable backdrop for conversations and relaxing. The computer center has a spacious u-shaped work surface, plus storage, a pull-out printer, desktop computer and a large wall-mounted LCD display. An overhead storage cabinet for additional glassware separates the salon from the computer center. Just forward of the center is a stairway to the pilothouse. The dining area’s central location makes it easy for everyone to be together during meals and throughout the day. The open design allows guests in all three areas to share being together. But with the option to be just enough apart where you can do a little reading or have a quiet conversation. At all times, there is always the opportunity to take in the scenery while staying connected with others nearby.

M A S T E R B AT H MAIN LEVEL MASTER STATEROOM The master stateroom is on the boat’s main level, forward of the galley. This gives the owners remarkably easy access to the boat’s main areas, without the need to traverse stairs. Skylights above and multiple large windows to starboard provide plenty of light. There is a king size bed with storage drawers under, two large bureaus, drawers, shelves, storage lockers, a vanity and bookshelves. Additional storage is available from the two full height wardrobes, plus a standard wardrobe. Entertainment options are displayed on the 55” LED TV. The spacious en suite head offers a luxurious marble floor and marble countertop with twin raised sinks and ample storage below. A skylight provides natural lighting at the entrance to the large 72” x 40” dual head shower. The 106 has dual FCI watermakers, each capable of producing 1800 gallons of fresh water per day, so longer showers are never a problem.

CA P TA I N ’ S S TAT E R O O M CAPTAIN’S STATEROOM The captain’s stateroom is immediately aft of the pilothouse, accessed by a passageway on the starboard side that has a wet gear locker just outside the stateroom. Inside, there’s a queen size bed, a large desk area with file cabinets and drawers under, a full height wardrobe and a private head with a 34” x 32” shower. Windows aft and port give the captain a commanding view of the boat deck and weather conditions. The location of the captain’s stateroom offers exceptional access to the command center of the boat. And in addition to the safety and efficiency of this design, it also provides suitable accommodations for the person who often spends the most time on the boat.
10
G U E S T S TAT E R O O M S LOWER DECK A set of port side stairs lead aft down from galley go to a passageway that accesses three guest staterooms. A stacked washer/dryer with work counter and overhead storage lockers is near the base of the stairs.
VIP STATEROOM The forward VIP guest stateroom has a king size berth, vanity, two bookcases, two bureaus, two wardrobes with storage lockers, a 55” LED TV and a private head with 48” x 36” shower.
GUEST STATEROOMS The two additional guest staterooms are aft, on either side of the central passageway. Each stateroom has two beds with storage drawers underneath, a full height wardrobe, bureau, 32” LCD TV and a private head with 36” x 36” shower.

P I LOT H O U S E C O N T R O L PILOTHOUSE The pilothouse is the command center for voyaging. It can be accessed from the main level by a staircase forward of the computer center on the port side, or from the outside walkway doors port and starboard. The skipper’s stateroom is immediately aft by way of a starboard side passageway, so the efficiency and safety of boat operations are optimal. Immediately behind the three helm chairs is a raised settee area with two tables. The view from the wraparound seating encompasses a nearly 180 degree range of scenery. Under the seating is plenty of storage and bookshelves directly above and behind the seating give additional storage options.
