KITE OPTICS

U N CO N D I T I O N A L P ER F O R M A N C E It all started as a family business in Bruges, Belgium. When Georges De Putter took over the family optician business from his father Robert, he decided to combine his job with his passion and to create one of Europe's top shops dedicated to nature observation. In 1992, after selling the most famous brands of binoculars and spotting scopes for many years, Georges was still dissatisfied. He decided to launch its own brand of optics. Kite Optics was born. In 2015, after more than 30 years of binoculars manufacture, and because demand from the hunters is huge, Kite entered the hunting market with its KSP HD riflescopes. These are built with the same goal: unconditional performance. By teaming up with Browning, Kite Optics ensures its tools answer the needs of the most demanding hunters. All the tools launched by Kite Optics, from the smallest binocular to high-end riflescopes, are designed with the same idea. Kite builds tools for professionals who know what really matters: the highest optical standards, precise and robust construction, and no features that unnecessarily raise the price. Simplicity and quality are Kite's design watchwords. Combined with the best aftersale service, it is no wonder that Kite is the choice for long-lasting use.

It is no coincidence that we named our riflescopes the same way as our KSP HD spotting scopes, renowned amongst the greatest professionals for their high-end optical performance and precision mechanisms. With our riflescopes, we have set the bar at the highest level, competing with the most renowned scopes on the market for optical quality. But because we identified what really matters, leaving the frills aside, we are able to provide you the best quality for a reasonable price. This second generation of riflescopes, KSP HD2, is the outcome of a teamwork between Kite Optics and Browning, taking the best of both companies' experiences and using them to build scopes that are a reliable everyday partner: without frills and with no compromise on optical and mechanical quality. Kite’s latest glass coating technologies provide outstanding light transmission, allowing the KSP HD2 to take the maximum light out of any situation, and offer an image defined by brightness and contrast, even in late evening and early morning. The scope body is solidly made of aircraft aluminium, while the smallest machined workpieces are shaped in strong brass for high durability. All pieces are finely assembled, never glued. There is no plastic. For all these reasons we are proud commit to offer you a lifetime warranty, as we are confident that our riflescopes will never disappoint you and will be part of your greatest hunting moments.

KITE OPTICS RIFLESCOPES

F I N E M E C H A N I C S. P R E C I S ELY A S S EM B LED Combining the highest level of light transmission, an extraordinary image performance and a great zoom factor is no thanks to luck or chance. These riflescopes are the perfect match between the highest quality components and state-of-the-art manufacturing and assembling processes. FOR RELIABILITY Professional observation is at the roots of Kite Optics. Already a well-loved supplier to many of Europe's nature reserves and institutions long before the brand became available to consumers. In our view, a binocular or scope is more than just a hobby instrument. It is a tool on which hunters, foresters and explorers rely every day to do their jobs. Optical performance is one thing, but we have learned early that mechanical precision, durability and after-sales service are at least at the same level of importance. Through innovation, and by caring for highest quality on levels that are invisible to most of our customers, we can offer an instrument that does not only stand for excellent vision, but also the very best you can expect in durabilty and reliability. Â Â

FOR SERVICE We strongly dislike today's throw-away society. We want our instruments to contribute to nature, not harm it. Our eye for quality on each of our product's components ensures the products last a lifetime. In case of damage, we have a highly specialised repair department in Jabbeke, Belgium. Every Kite instrument, no matter how old or how damaged, can be repaired by the skilled replacement or repair of components.

13

IBIS ED High-End Comfort. For the most demanding hunters. The characteristic ‘open hinge design’, slim design and low weight make the Ibis ED an excellently comfortable field-glass. Even in the 50mm configuration the weight is well balanced and kept to an absolute minimum. This makes the Ibis ED 50mm the lightest in its quality class. The Ibis ED 50 mm is therefore a large objective instrument without the traditional disadvantages. The Ibis ED is equipped with Kite’s best glass and coatings. The ED lens system in these binoculars eliminates chromatic aberration, offer brilliant colour reproduction and a high contrast image which is in perfect focus from the centre to the edge. The high light transmission is an exceptional aspect of these binoculars. The light intensity of the 42mm is high, and exceptionally high in the 50 mm. This all makes the Ibis ED the perfect binocular for twilight hunting in the worst weather conditions. 7X42

PETREL High Optical Performance. Manufactured with the expert knowledge of Kite Optics, the Petrel provides excellent optic characteristics and robust mechanics. The Petrel features a less complicated lens and coating system compared to the Ibis ED.
