Register online using the ENCORE registration portal, call

519-426-8866 ext. 2233 or email recreation@norfolkcounty.ca. Preregistration is required. Registrations will not be taken at the arena. All participants must be registered to participate, including support/caregivers if on the ice. Cancellations are accepted in advance of registered skate times which would result in a credit on account, NO Refunds.

Parent & Tot Skate ($2.00 per person)

The Parent & Tot program is designed for the parent and pre-school child to skate together. No individual adult or child will be permitted. Children must wear a helmet with a face mask and adults must also wear a helmet. Aggressive play, power shooting, power skating, etc. is not permitted.

Youth Shinny ($5.00 per person)

An informal “drop-in” pick-up game of hockey for high school aged participants (13 to 18 years of age). Participants are to plan and organize game play themselves. Body contact is not permitted. Full hockey equipment, CSA approved hockey helmets, and full cage/shield are strongly recommended for all participants. All participants must be registered to participate, including support/caregivers.

Figure Skating Shinny ($5.00 per person - $3.00 for those 65+)

An informal “drop-in” time for figure skaters to come and practice their skills individually. All participants must be registered to participate, including support/caregivers.

Adult Shinny ($5.00 per person - $3.00 for those 65+)

An informal “drop-in” pick-up game of hockey for adults and seniors. Participants are to plan and organize game play themselves. Body contact is not permitted. Full hockey equipment, CSA approved hockey helmets, and full cage/shield are strongly recommended for all participants. All participants must be registered to participate, including support/caregivers. Children under the age of 12 must come with a parent or guardian 18 years or older. CSA-approved hockey helmet is strongly recommended. Food & beverages are not permitted. Only approved skate aids and ice skates are permitted on the ice. Skate in approved direction only and do not carry children. All participants must be in control at all times.

Adult Skate ($2.00 per person)

Adult Skates are an awesome way to get some exercise and meet new people! Must be 18 years or older. Program is unsupervised. It is recommended that CSA-approved hockey helmets be worn. Only approved skating aids are permitted on the ice. Skate in the approved direction only. Figure skating is not permitted.

Adult Sticks & Pucks ($2.00 per person)

For adults interested in practicing their stick and puck handling skills. Must be 18 years or older. Skates and CSA-approved helmets (cage or visor is highly recommended) are mandatory equipment for all program participants. Hockey players wishing to wear their full hockey equipment are welcome. There is NO scrimmage, shinny play or goalies in nets.

Family Sticks & Pucks

**NEW** For parents and children interested in practicing their stick and puck handling skills. Parents are encouraged to bring out their children and work on skill development together. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Skates and CSA-approved helmets (cage or visor is highly recommended) are mandatory equipment for all program participants. Hockey players wishing to wear their full hockey equipment are welcome. There is NO scrimmage, shinny play or goalies in nets.
