Overseas Travel: The Rise of Holiday Rental Accommodations

People who have extra cash might choose to stay at a star-rated hotel because it’s the most common choice. Many travellers today, however, beg to differ, as there more choices available to them. Holiday accommodations in Asian countries like Thailand, for instance, offer rentals to make guests feel at home even if they’re far away. Bigger Space According to an info graphic posted by Home Away Travel Ideas, an average holiday home is much bigger than a hotel room. Depending on the rental, whether apartments, condominiums, or villas, it could offer up to 2,000 or more sq. ft. of space, unlike hotel rooms that only have about 400 sq. ft.

In addition, a hotel room is a single room. It has a single or double bed, and everything else is within the field of vision. Holiday rentals, on the other hand, are spacious enough to handle multiple areas and rooms. The kitchen, dining, and other areas are far from each other, and the beds are in separate rooms.

Comfort A typical hotel room consists of a bed, desk, closet, entertainment system, and bathroom. If a guest wants something to eat, they either call for room service or eat out. There’s a possibility that they won’t satisfy their cravings, though. Being in another country, local cuisines are the best they could get. Holiday rentals offer the same features as a hotel room, but they also offer kitchens, laundry areas, and others that are available in a house. If guests know how to cook, they can satisfy their cravings immediately.

No Schedule Hotels have their sets of rules. For instance, breakfast buffets, housekeeping, and using the swimming pool have schedules. It’s the responsibility of guests to follow these, which could be troublesome. A vacation rental, however, is the complete opposite. Guests own their schedule. They could cook their food anytime or go for a night swim in their rented villa’s pool.

Whether it’s a holiday apartment, condominium, or villa, renting a place that functions as a house is better when going overseas. After all, feeling at home, even in a foreign country, makes travelling more enjoyable.
