A home sweet home is what everybody wants for themselves and their loved ones. Nowadays, Australians don’t look for a good location only, or interior, or the house’s appeal. They see the property as a whole, including the area it’s part of. As such, the factors that make them buy land or house and land packages widen.
The demand for private and gated communities in Australia is increasing, says Monarch Investments CEO, Peter Icklow. What was once a famous living lifestyle in the US and amongst Australian retirees, is now the leading necessity of single-family households.
An Ideal Lifestyle Homebuyers don’t only prioritise the comfort, but also the lifestyle. Private and gated communities are similar in nature, but the latter isn’t common in different parts of Australia yet. Both offer facilities that make the community seem like a tourism

A Sense of Security There’s a perception that private and gated communities are safe, as people living inside usually know each other well. They trust and look out for each other, providing a familial environment that strengthens interpersonal relationships. In addition, 24-hour security like mobile patrols and surveillance cameras are present. An article published by the Sydney Morning Herald stated some contradictions, however. It’s true that security in private and gated communities is higher, but this doesn’t necessarily guarantee that crime rate is 0%.The borders or walls might keep people out, but break-ins could still happen to households that don’t know how to secure their home.

As far as comfort and lifestyle is concerned, many homebuyers don’t mind paying extra for the land or property they’re planning to buy. If this means that households could live with less worry, then communities are definitely a good choice.
