Artist Statement My philosophy revolves around the idea that what you do and create must have permanence and longevity, embedded with meaning and thoughtfulness, rather than the fleeting moment of the day, nor of the season. Fashion and trends may change, but the Spirit and energy that permeates the image must go beyond its immediate boundaries. I search for images that are timeless. The best and most memorable music, paintings, sculptures, and architecture are just that, and remain memorable for years after they have been created. I look for simplicity and strength yet never trying to be too complicated in the process. I seek a quietness and stillness in my environment, contrasting the frenetic energy of Hong Kong.
