Designed for HAY by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker, Chisel Lounge Chair is a contemporary yet timeless take on the ever-relevant moulded plywood chair. Named after the classic carpentry tool, Chisel was created from the desire to design a solid wooden chair with a distinctive silhouette that would stand the test of time. Developed with optimal craftmanship and ergonomics in mind, the chair’s soft, organic seat and backrest provide good support in a visually inviting way, complemented by angled legs that echo the chisel references with their characteristically bevelled edges. Chisel Lounge Chair’s wide variety of wood types, colours and front upholstery options, combined with its compact size makes it ideal for use in most domestic and public settings, from living rooms and bedrooms to waiting rooms, lobbies, and libraries. Developed around the acclaimed stackable chair design – known for its screwless production process – the whole collection is unified by a solid composition and rounded edges. First designed as an impromptu solution to a lack of seating at a dinner party, designers Hannes & Fritz refined their idea to create Weekday – a collection of outdoor benches and tables for HAY. Retaining the original idea of bringing people together, Weekday’s solid, robust presence and softly rounded joints convey a sense of warmth and familiarity that invites shared dining and a social atmosphere. Featuring the same construction as the classic picnic table and bench, Weekday is made in strong, durable pine planks that will patinate beautifully and last for many years to come. Weekday’s strong yet universally appealing character combined with its multiple size options and water-based, weather-resistant surface treatment makes it suitable for outside use in a wide range of settings, from cafés and public parks to private or shared gardens. Made in solid pine in different finishes and colour options, with the possibility to supplement benches with seat cushions in selected textiles for extra comfort. DESIGN BY MULLER VAN SEVEREN, 2023 Designed by Belgian duo Muller Van Severen, Arcs Trolley is a functional and decorative trolley encased in a unified chain of vertical arcs. A small piece of furniture with a strong presence, the trolley combines industrial techniques with poetic lines to create a distinctive and sculptural expression. The elegant, scalloped frame supports two or three tiers, with slim legs mounted on castors for easy manoeuvring. Made in powder coated steel in different colour options, the trolley is suitable for most rooms and uses in the home, from displaying and storing items in the living room to extra shelving in the kitchen or as a bedside cabinet. CONSTRUCTION

Flat-packed powder coated steel trolley with edge detailing on shelves. Top tray and all leg sections have threaded connections. The middle and bottom trays feature holes for connecting the leg sections. The trolley is assembled by screwing the leg sections into the trays, ﬁnished by attaching plastic castor wheels to the base of the leg sections. The castor wheels are standard parts. The product requires assembly by the customer, but can be assembled without any tools. The product comes in two heights and four colours. Max load per shelf is 10 kg. Rietveld’s ambition to create modern, functional, and affordable furniture for the masses echoes HAY’s core values, making the Crate Collection an ideal fit for HAY. The collection comprises a lounge chair, dining chair, low table, and side table, all made with respect for the original design, and sharing the same precisely balanced proportions and transparent construction to minimise production costs and optimise the assembly process. Made of solid pine, with a water-based lacquered finish suitable for outdoor use, the collection’s simplicity, and spatial design mirrors the designer’s architectural style – providing functionality and comfort without absorbing space. The water-based coating and different colour options make the furniture suitable for a wealth of outdoor settings, and can be supplemented with optional seat cushions in selected textiles for extra comfort. DESIGN BY STEFAN DIEZ, 2023 Originally inspired by the traditional skills of Japanese bamboo craftmanship, Stefan Diez’s Boa Table translates an organic idea into a contemporary take on the conference table typology. With optimal environmental consideration in mind, the tubular frame is made entirely from Hydro CIRCAL aluminium, a recycled aluminium made from a minimum of 75% recycled post-consumer scrap, which is extruded in Denmark using renewable energy. Using an innovative folding technique, the aluminium is converted into flexible industrial aluminium profiles that are bent into place during assembly. This unique process combined with the lightness of aluminium provides a level of agility rarely present in a table of this scale, enabling its flat-packed design to be easily assembled and moved around. Customisable tabletops are offered in numerous material options, including linoleum, laminate, wood or glass, allowing users to adapt the table to specific style and space requirements. Available in multiple colours and sizes, the frames can be supplemented with power supply and cable storage accessories to amplify their flexibility and usage possibilities for a wide range of professional environments. Taking cues from the classic Banker’s Light, British designer John Tree merged archetypal references with his contemporary, colourful sensibility to create the Apex Lamp collection. The folded steel shades create a peaked roofline silhouette, providing the inspiration behind the series’ name as well as offering a graphic contrast to the chrome-plated bases. The series comprises the Clip Lamp, Desk Clip Lamp, Desk Lamp, and Table Lamp, with the different models covering a multitude of spaces and uses, from the workspace to the bedroom and everywhere in between. All variants are available in different colour options.
