Coffee beans are proudly grown by indigenous small-plot Guatemalan farmers. Did you know that North Central pays farmers above market price? Cardinals understand that social impact is a key ingredient to a sustainable and ethical business.
Once harvested, coffee beans start their long journey to campus. We like to say these beans are CardinalBound.

You see, Cardinals and coffee beans actually have a lot in common. We may come from different places and have different stories, but when blended together, we create a bold and unique impact on the world around us.
Cardinals are also stirring up bold ideas outside the Lab. Our student organization, Enactus, helps entrepreneurs, like the coffee farmers, become financially sustainable. Students manage the whole coffee process from farmer to consumer.
