Experience to lead
Troy Pearson has been named the new Director of Admissions at North Central. A 1988 graduate of the University, Troy comes with a wealth of experience to lead the University’s enrollment efforts. Troy is no stranger to the North Central campus. He spent three years in the North Central Admissions Department in the early 1990’s and served as the North Central Athletic Director and head men’s basketball coach from 1993-1997. During that time, he was named the NCCAA Regional Basketball Coach of the Year and received the 1995-96 NCCAA National Sports Ministry Award.
In previous years, Troy has held positions as Director of Admissions for Crown College and Vice President of Advancement at Crossroads College. Along with his B.S. in Mass Communications from North Central, Troy also holds a M.S. in Management from Southwest State University.

Troy truly has a love for North Central and the mission of preparing Pentecostal leaders. "I continue to respect the unity NCU’s employees, administration and leaders demonstrate towards providing an environment that allows young people to explore their future while learning God’s purpose for their lives," states Troy. He recognizes that even though the institution has grown to become a University and has greatly expanded programs, it has not lost its personal compassionate focus.
Troy is married to Becky [Dubbels] (‘86) and has two daughters: Morgan (14) and Mikayla (9).
