A PHILOSOPH Y FOR LIFE A ND SP OR T René Lacoste was the tennis player of the 1920s. His place in the history books was guaranteed. Yet, his knowledge of the court, coupled with an exacting and audacious outlook on life, led to a revolutionary design vision. In 1963, Lacoste introduced the 'René'. The silhouette was simple and effortlessly refined, paving the way for future incarnations. The LS.12, Missouri and Half Court silhouettes continue the tradition forming an iconic repertoire which will forever stay true to René Lacoste’s original principles. Timeless innovation, sporting origin, classic style, comfort. These are the design principles which have formed the basis for the brand, from René’s earliest invention until now. Enduring and assured. This season introduces the Explorateur. A silhouette that takes its founding influences from these principles, combining heritage Lacoste aesthetics with a contemporary urban motivation.
