EDITOTI.IAL

This issue's editorial page sho\,rs considerable expansion of our Board of Directors. The listing is an impressive group of credible, experienced and dedicated individuals whose advice and direction will help the NCTA through the growing pains of the coming years. Their expertise and involvement is essential for the mutual benefit of all, we who have a strong mutual interest in trails ard aII that benefits ourselves and our wcrld in the great outdoors It is our hope that we vuill have representation of other organizations of equal merit and magnitude as we all go along. The present..Board and officers of Ncta wilI welcome any unrepresented group and aI other interested individuals' recommendations for Board membership. Names and comments can be sent to the address of the editors for revierv at the Spring meeting in White Cloud, May L6, L7, 18. A1l Board members and Officers will meet during the regular biannual Auturnn meeting of NCt, at Cook Forest State Park i-n Pennsylvania in october, 1986 for the first planning meeting of the 1990 nnd-To-End Hike of the NCT. All interested members of NCTA and non-:nembers and ne\r,s media representatives will be present for briefing by lIike leader Art Holland of NCTA and Monty Mcntgomery of the American Hiking Society.

Food, lodging, and travel expenses incurred wnile attending NCTA Meetings, events, or acting on behalf of the NCTA. Automobile expenses are deductible at the rate of $.12 per mile. Dues
