The Northeast-10 Conference is an NCAA Division II conference that was established in 1979. The conference consists of 15 member institutions located throughout the Northeast in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont. With the addition of women’s golf in 2014-15, the NE10 now sponsors a total of 24 sports. The institutions that make up the NE10 are Adelphi University (Garden City, N.Y.), American International College (Springfield, Mass.), Assumption College (Worcester, Mass.), Bentley University (Waltham, Mass.), Franklin Pierce University (Rindge, N.H.), Le Moyne College (Syracuse, N.Y.), Merrimack College (North Andover, Mass.), University of New Haven (West Haven, Conn.), Pace University (Pleasantville, N.Y.), Saint Anselm College (Manchester, N.H.), Saint Michael’s College (Colchester, Vt.), The College of Saint Rose (Albany, N.Y.), Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven, Conn.), Southern New Hampshire University (Manchester, N.H.), and Stonehill College (Easton, Mass.). The conference’s 15 member institutions are spread geographically from Syracuse, N.Y. to Waltham, Mass. and from Colchester, Vt. to Garden City, N.Y. Many of the members are located in or around the metropolitan areas of Albany, Boston, Manchester, New Haven, Worcester and New York City. The NE10 was proud to welcome the New Haven and Adelphi in the conference’s latest expansion, adding to the powerful union of strong academic and athletic institutions. In addition, LIU Post (Brookville, N.Y.) is an associate member of the NE10 in the sports of field hockey and football. The NE10 has evolved into a membership committed to competitive athletics programs that emphasize the education, both on and off the field, of more than 6,000 student-athletes. Among the many accomplishments of these institutions are NCAA Division II national championships in women’s basketball, women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s and women’s swimming and diving. The conference is coming off another successful year, collecting four national titles in 2015-16. Two champions from the NE10 were crowned at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships during the winter season. First it was American International’s Chandler Cotton, Jr., Kemani Hume, Leakey Kipkosgei and Chad Miller claiming the men’s distance medley relay title with a time of 9:48.02. Then Merrimack’s Carly Muscaro won the women’s 400-meter dash title with a time of 52.34 the following night. Muscaro wasn’t quite finished, however, as she defended her 400-meter dash crown at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship,

winning her second individual national championship of 2015-16 by finishing the 400 in 51.32, just .03 seconds shy of the meet record. The very next day, Le Moyne defeated Limestone, 8-4, to win its fifth NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship and cap off a perfect 20-0 season. When it came to NCAA American International’s Chad Miller, Kemani Hume, Leakey Kipkosgei and Chandler postseason selections, the Cotton, Jr. claimed the men’s indoor distance medley relay national title in 2016. NE10 once again had another sensational year with 44 teams chosen to participate in national tournaments during the year. In addition, student-athletes from 32 different men’s and women’s golf, swimming and diving, cross country, and indoor and outdoor track & field teams competed for national titles. Of those 44 teams earning NCAA bids, 14 different Northeast-10 institutions were represented. Seven NE10 teams reached the national semifinal round, while three teams played in their respective sport’s national title game. It was a record year for the NE10 academically in 2015-16 as well. Five NE10 institutions achieved a department Academic Success Rate (graduation rate) of at least 90 percent. Four achieved a score of 95 percent or better, ranking them in the top seven nationally. Another new record was set this summer with the release of Team Academic Excellence awards, as 75 percent of the league’s 292 teams achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NE10 also honored 247 studentathletes as members of its academic all-conference teams during the fall, winter and spring seasons. The NE10 also remains focused on its community endeavors. The conference has built a strong partnership with Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization that matches children with life-threatening illnesses with college sports teams. In 2015, the NE10 became the first ‘fully-matched’ conference in Division II, as at least one team from each member institution has matched with a Team IMPACT child. More than 60 NE10 teams currently have matches through Team IMPACT. The conference’s fundraising efforts for Make-A-Wish are also more than any other Division II conference in the country over the past decade. Through the establishment and enforcement of regulations, the conference aims to encourage policies that enable intercollegiate athletics programs to contribute to and be considered an integral part of the total educational offerings at our member institutions. The NE10 can look to a long history of success including the growth from seven original member institutions to more than double its size 35 years later, the contention for and winning of multiple national championships, and the recognition of student-athlete performances off the field and in the classroom.

After crossing the bridge, continue to I-287 east and follow signs for 1-95 south. Take 295 to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Go over the Throgs Neck Bridge, bearing right, and exit onto the Cross Island Parkway - Eastern Long Island. Take the Cross Island Parkway to the Long Island Expressway (Route 495) - Eastern Long Island. From there, follow the L.I.E. (East) directions below. FROM NEW ENGLAND:Take either I-91 south to I-95 in New Haven, or 1-684 south to 1-287 east (toward New England) to I-95 south. Depending on where you get on I-95, you may travel through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York’s Westchester and Bronx counties. Remain on I-95 and follow signs for I-295 (Throgs Neck Bridge, Eastern Long Island). Go over the Throgs Neck Bridge, bearing right, and exit onto the Cross Island Parkway- Eastern Long Island. Directions to Bentley From the West: Take exit 14 of the Massachusetts Turnpike and follow signs to Route 95/128 North. Continue as directed in “From Route 95/128” below. From Route 95/128, Heading North: Take the Third Avenue/Totten Pond Road exit (27A-27B). Take Exit 27B on the left toward Totten Pond Road/ Winter Street. Keep right at the fork to go on Wyman Street. At very end of exit, bear right onto Wyman Street. Follow about a quarter-mile to traffic lights. Take left on to Totten Pond Road. At end, take right on Lexington Street. There is an immediate fork in the road. Bear left and take first left (about 200 yards) onto Beaver Street. At traffic rotary, go two-thirds of the way around, remaining on Beaver. Take a right at next traffic light (Falcon Way) for entrance to Dana Center. From Route 95/128, Heading South: Take Exit 27A toward Totten Pond Road/Third Avenue. Coming off exit, get in left lane, go back over highway and continue on Totten Pond Road. At end, take right on Lexington Street. There is an immediate fork in the road. Bear left and take first left (about 200 yards) onto Beaver Street. At traffic rotary, go two-thirds of the way around, remaining on Beaver. Take a right at next traffic light (Falcon Way) for entrance to Dana Center. From Boston and Points East: Follow Storrow Drive (west) or Memorial Drive (west) to the end and follow signs toward Arlington. Then bear left at sign that reads “To 16 S Watertown Waltham”. Follow for six-tenths of a mile and turn right onto Belmont Street after passing the Star Market shopping center on the right. Continue on Belmont Street until it intersects with Trapelo Road. Bear right onto Trapelo Road and continue for 1.7 miles. Take a left at the light and follow the sign that reads “60 Waltham to Rte 20”. This is Waverley Oaks Road (Route 60). At the next traffic light, take a right on Beaver Street. Go to second light and take left onto Falcon Way for entrance to Dana Center.

Directions to Saint Rose The College of Saint Rose is located between Western and Madison avenues in Albany. From the North: Take the Northway (I-87 South) to I-90. Proceed east on I-90 to exit 5 (Everett Road). At the exit ramp, turn right onto Everett Road and look for the signs for The College of Saint Rose.
