The department has 25 tenured/tenure-track faculty members and an additional 46 tenured/tenure-track affiliated faculty contribute to the department. During 2018 to 2020, the department recieved $14M in external research awards. Our downtown Boston campus facilitates collaborations with major medical centers, research labs, and industry. Our faculty’s efforts in scholarship and research seek to provide solutions to compelling health and sustainability challenges.
