Withtheslowing of the marketin2022manybuyers were localas Aucklanders andthe rest of the country struggledwithsellingtheir properties. Morerecently in January and Februaryflood afterflood and road closuresseemed to continue to keep peopleatbay. March, however, hasseenanincrease ofenquiry and viewings from nonlocal buyers.

Whoknows whatthe Kerikeri markethasinstorebut while itis alongway offthe2021market,thesignsinlistingandsalesactivity in thepastmonthmakeusquietlyoptimistic for the rest of 2023.
