Page 1

Chairman’s Message On behalf of the Board of Directors of Northern Inland Football, I would formally like to welcome everyone to Scully Park for the 2019 Woodley’s Isuzu Ute Northern Inland Premier League Grand Finals. Congratulations to the clubs, players and team officials who have qualified for the biggest day of the season. Northern Inland Football acknowledges the generous support of Woodley’s Isuzu Ute, the official partner of the 2019 Northern Inland Premier League. Our sincere appreciation is also extended to Wests Entertainment Group for their support and dedication to providing a quality facility for today’s Grand Finals. I would like to thank the Northern Inland Football staff on their contributions to this very successful year, along with all the participants and club volunteers who have contributed to a fantastic season and I wish the best of luck to all the teams in today’s Northern Inland Premier League Grand Finals. I would also like to acknowledge and congratulate our Match Officials who should be very proud of their appointments to the Grand Final matches today. Finally, thank you to all the supporters in attendance today for your support of the Northern Inland Premier League and football across the region. Phillip Davies Chairman – Northern Inland Football

General Manager’s Message I would like to join our Chair in extending a warm welcome to everyone attending today’s Grand Finals. Congratulations to the clubs, players and team officials who have qualified for tody’s fixtures. 2019 has been a year of growth for Northern Inland Football, with the region seeing a total of 6,137 players registered resulting in a staggering 3.65% increase for 2019. Within our entry-level and junior players combined, the region saw a 2.77% increase since 2018. A highlight for the region was in Female participation as it saw an increase of 7.76% from 2018. As my second season in the role of General Manager, the progress our clubs have made with our players is a credit to all the volunteers in our football community. With the entry into the Newcastle Metropolitan competition for our U12’s, and most recently being accepted into the Northern League One competition in Newcastle, NIF is now providing a pathway for players and match officials to be part of a higher level of competition on a regular basis. I would also like to recognise and thank the local and national businesses that support our local football community, to see the sponsors displayed and worn proudly by the players is a credit to all involved in building these community partnerships. I would like to thank the Northern Inland Football Team and Board for their support during the 2019 season in the role as General Manager, and the support of the Club Presidents and Committees across the region. On behalf of the Northern Inland Football operations team, we thank you for your support during the 2019 season and look forward to 2020 on and off the field. Julia Farina General Manager - Northern Inland Football
