nce upon a time... in a small Yorkshire town called Huddersfield roamed the Northern Monkeys, a majestic family of primates who had special creative design powers, and these monkeys were secretly planning to take over the design world! All they needed to do was: cunningly expose their fresh bulging monkey brains, reveal their lightening fast Mac-monkey fingers and unleash a hidden secret to swing beyond the other stuffy, ‘stuck-in-their-ways’ design establishments. Way up high, on the great big mountainous hill outside of town lives this excitable pack of mischief-makers, with their persuasive and incorrigible Organ Grinder, A.K.A ‘The Organ Grinder’. At the top of the great big hill balances an ancient crumbling castle where the monkeys revel. They boisterously gather at the tip of the castle to keep a watchful eye over the town and to plot a plan to destroy all plans.

The monkeys guzzled, splurged, spilled and swished 51,267 cups of tea by the time the composed, elegant and beautiful specimen of an Organ Grinder had hatched the perfect plan. Silence wafted over the pack of eager, ear-pricked belly, sloshing apes, in anticipation for the calm and collected leader to unveil the great untold plan to destroy all plans. “Our ever-evolving spell binding design team will now be known as Northern Monkeys Creative Ltd. Our mission will be to ignite and invigorate an unconventional approach to design!” He proclaimed while preening and puffing out his chest. “We’ll supply humongous dollops of: approachable, jargon busting personalities, friendly and passionate professionals, who are dedicated to affordable, non-pompous, client caring, stress-free inspirational solutions.” “Our fellow pri-mates or ‘clients’ as they prefer to be called, will never have to worry about approaching an unapproachable design agency, ever again!” “O-O-O-A-A-A, Northern Monkeys, Northern Monkeys...” Chanted the swinging, cackling, eager Mac monkeys. Too excited to contain themselves, the excited little monkeys rolled, tumbled and toppled down the hill dispersing themselves into the local towns and villages on their crazed mission to spread the word.

Four years swung by and the monkeys never looked back. To this day, you will find the cheeky little Northern Monkeys designing happily away on their successful mission of â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;approaching design differentlyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;. Northern Monkeys Creative Ltd, formed by Berenice Wormald in 2004, has worked on high profile accounts in her career such as: Alliance & Leicester, Audi, BT, DFS, Dulux, HBOS, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Magnet Kitchens, Motorola, Silentnight Beds, The Car People, The University of Huddersfield, Thomson Holidays and Volkswagen.
