Greubel Forsey

Greubel Forsey places the Earth’s back at the center of its universe with the GMT Balancier Convexe, a new caliber that will replace all previous GMT models from the house. The Earth is showcased at the very heart of an amphitheaterlike construction. It moves in a constant 24-hour rotation, just like the real thing, and the perfect titanium sphere with its continents, seas and oceans remind us of the responsibility we each carry as citizens of this planet. greubelforsey.com

Using the world of rock music as its inspiration, the Richard Mille RM 66 Flying Tourbillon required 1,500 hours of research and development, and for all of that is limited to 50 pieces. A horn hand sign symbolizes what its creator calls “a generation, a school of thought, a state of mind.” The five digits of the hand were milled, then transferred to the master engraver to be perfected by the hands of the house’s watchmaking masters. richardmille.com
