For the Love of Wine
By Meryl D’Sa-Wilson
Looking for a way to unwind after a day of sightseeing, or want to end your vacation on a sweet (and fruity), or perhaps aromatic note? Naples is not only a food haven — it also boasts several great wine, beer and cocktail bars. Here’s your chance to take a local wine tour or peruse a new collection of domestic and international wines. These are the top vino-centric spots in the city. The newly opened CRU Wine Club offers wine and light bites. You can learn about California wines and find new favorites while tasting. Make a reservation for their California wine and olive oil tastings from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Three60 Market serves breakfast and lunch in the restaurant, as well as takeout and delivery. But their new program, Three60 Wine, also lets you enjoy your favorite wines for the lowest price in town! The trick: Each bottle costs only $3.60 over the restaurant price. Choose from their vast instore collection or let them order a bottle for you.
At The Cave Bistro and Wine Bar, you can pick your poison from an extensive wine list and menu of specialty cocktails. Pair these with an Artisanal Cheese and Charcuterie board or a Wild Mushroom & Truffle Pappardelle. The Cave also hosts a variety of events for wine enthusiasts throughout the year.
In the mood to try something new? C-Level Wine Bar offers some of the best French cuisine in Southwest Florida matched by a carefully selected wine list featuring a globally inspired selection. Have a glass at the bistrostyle wine bar; the nautical blue and white curtains are sure to light up your Insta feed.
Bleu Provence, owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Jacques and Lysielle Cariot, won a 2021 Wine Spectator award. This neighborhood favorite features a diverse wine list, and they also run the Globetrotter Wine Club, featuring old and new flavors from popular wine regions around the world.
Nothing beats watching the sunset with a cool glass of rosé or enhancing the flavor of your steak with a good Merlot. Visit Naples’ wine bars, contemplate each layer of flavors, take in the aroma, and find your new favorite bottle.
