Teaching and Assessment Teaching Architecture is a design-led discipline with studio practice as the primary method of enquiry. At least half of your time will be focused upon studio design projects. Weekly individual or group tutorials with studio tutors. Reviews with guest reviewers from architectural practice. Design projects are supported by taught modules which feed into or reflect on your studio design projects. Taught modules are delivered through lectures, seminar group discussions, workshops and tutorials. Leo Bourke MArch (2019) the workhouse
Teaching and Assessment Teaching MArch has ‘vertical’ studios: Combining years 1 & 2 to encourage peer-to-peer learning. Enables flexibility to pursue interests over two years. Provide a ‘scaffolding’ for each student’s personal enquiry. Allows the development of collective studio themes and agendas.
Projects are set in the region, enabling repeated and prolonged engagement with a territory and a community. Chris Brown MArch (2014) anon-uments “To Be Destroyed” exhibition Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA), Toronto, Canada
