NU EXPERIENCE DAY PROGRAMME OVERVIEW FOR SATURDAY 18TH MARCH 2023 – COACH LANE CAMPUS

General Sessions and Tours

The morning sessions are a drop-in for you to see and hear more about Northumbria University and to visit our accommodation. If you feel that you don’t need to see any of the general sessions and tours then we recommend that you arrive by 11.00 for the start of the subject sessions.

Check in at Registration when you arrive and pick up your personalised programme for the day.

Central Exhibition

Find out more about our fantastic facilities, accommodation and support services. Staff from across the University and current students will be available to tell you everything you need to know.

(Our information desk will remain open here throughout the event until 14.00 for any last minute questions, or if you want help to firmly accept your offer from Northumbria University.)

Managing Your Finances

Information about applying for UK* undergraduate student funding, maximising your income, as well as guidance on budgeting.

*Non-UK students can get advice at the Student Life and Wellbeing Stand in the Central Exhibition.

Results Day - How Confirmation and Clearing Works

We know Results Day can be a nervous time, so take advantage of this short session detailing how Confirmation and Clearing works in practice, how best to prepare for it and busting the jargon.

Tour – allow up to 30 minutes.

Accommodation Open Houses - City Campus Time Venue

All of our student accommodation is close to our City Campus, a free return shuttle bus between Coach Lane Campus East and City Campus East will operate on the day from 08.45-13.30 to enable you to visit them, leaving every 20-30 minutes. Please allow 25 minutes for your journey and note that the last bus from City to Coach Lane is at 13.30 and the last bus from Coach Lane to City is 14.00.

*There is also a free shuttle bus operating between City Campus East and Trinity Square accommodation from 09.0013.00, leaving every 20-30 minutes. Please allow 20 minutes for your journey and note that the last bus back to City Campus East leaves Trinity Square at 13.00.
