STUDENT CENTRAL
“ Student Central is in the heart of our Campus. Students can access advice from Ask4Help and books in the Library collection. It is also a great place to study collaboratively, accessing online learning in the hub spaces and independent study is made easy in the quiet zones.”
E mma Collier | Northumbria University Students’ Union President
Student Central can be found at our City Campus Library and Coach Lane Library, providing a focal point for students in the heart of our Campus.
Here you will find the Ask4Help service, the first point of contact for all student support enquiries. Students can contact the team in person, by phone or via their Student Portal to raise queries and seek support or guidance on a range of topics.
At City Campus, the main Student Central is located within the University Library in a purposedesigned communal space. This includes our Student Skills Centre, where you can access a wide variety of group support, presentations and training sessions, plus private consultation rooms and access to experts in a wide range of fields.
Our state of the art, 24/7 Digital Commons is also adjacent to Student Central.
